This week, Forney Fire Department leaders are participating in a week-long Leadership Development Training featuring internal and external guest speakers covering a variety of leadership topics. The training is focused on providing practical knowledge, perspectives, and tools that can be applied throughout the department.
The training kicked off today, and we’d like to thank The Forney Domino's- Helms Trail for providing lunch!
This morning, Forney firefighters participated in a 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb, climbing our training tower in honor of the 343 FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001. We climb to remember. 🇺🇸

Today, we remember the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the 343 firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice while answering the call to serve. Their courage, selflessness, and sacrifice will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸

A few photos from the working structure fire on 9/5/26. This fire was located in the 3000 block of Boran Drive. There were no reported injuries.

This September 11, we honor the 343 FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice while answering the call, along with every firefighter who has given their life in service to others.
The 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb is a reminder that we will never forget their courage, sacrifice, and dedication. We invite our Forney community to join the movement: climb one flight of stairs, share your climb, and challenge others to do the same.
