October is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month. 💔

They tell you not to talk about losing a baby. Don’t overshare. Don’t give anyone power to hurt you. But I don’t want to live with this secret. Fear has never stopped me before. If my pain helps someone feel less alone, it’s worth it.

These past 3 weeks have been the hardest of my life. On September 10th—our baby girl died, and I was rushed into emergency surgery to save my life.

We were so excited. We had family pictures scheduled and were ready to announce we were expecting baby # 4.

One moment, I was happily pregnant: planning, preparing her room, dreaming of our future, telling my mom we were naming the baby after her…

In the blink of an eye, she was gone. And I was left physically, emotionally and spiritually broken.

To anyone who has experienced this loss, I am so sorry. The grief is unbearable.

Moms are so often expected to keep this secret—as if sharing makes us a burden, or makes us look fragile. We’re expected to just carry on, holding immense love for a baby the world will never know.

Most days now, I’m just surviving. First it was minute by minute, then hour by hour, now day by day. I share this hoping it reaches someone in the dark pit of grief. I am right here with you (and for you) —feeling my faith being tested to its core.

My love for this baby girl began a year ago with the most vivid dreams of a daughter named Ruth. She had dark hair like her dad, and I could feel what it was like to hold her. Then the positive tests and “gender reveal” only affirmed what my heart knew… She was Ruth.

Jon wasn’t sold on the name, and neither was I. But I realize now it is her God-given, heavenly name.

At first, I was mad at God. Why bring me down this path? Why give me those dreams? Why take her on the anniversary of Charlie’s death? Why almost take my life, too?

Now I understand those dreams were a gift. God knew how this story would unfold. He spared me and blessed me with sweet memories of my daughter before taking her home.

I won’t ever stop mourning her—this kind of grief doesn’t go away. Until then, I hold her in my heart, waiting for the day I finally hold Ruth again in heaven.❤️‍🩹

❗️No parent should lose their child for refusing to deny biological reality❗️

The *Yaeli Martinez Child Protection Act* would protect parents from having CPS weaponized against them for refusing to “affirm” a child’s transgender identity.

I was personally attacked with CPS for not affirming my confused 12-year-old — and I’ve since met FAR too many loving parents who have *lost their children to CPS and family court for this!*

Loving and protecting your child is not abuse. This must end.

Title IX is back where it began: protecting women and girls on the basis of s*x. 🇺🇸

For more than 50 years, Title IX has protected equal opportunity for females. The Biden administration’s 2024 rewrite was vacated by a federal court, and the Department of Education is enforcing the 2020 rule again—including protections for female-only private spaces and activities.

Kendall Kotzmacher’s high school softball career ended in a state semifinal against a team with a BIOLOGICAL MALE pitcher—a team that went on to win the girls’ state championship.

As Kendall has said, the impact doesn’t stop with one athlete or one team: every roster spot, inning, award, championship and recruiting opportunity matters.

Today, Kendall is a sophomore NCAA softball player right here in Colorado at Colorado Christian University—and she’s using her voice for the girls coming behind her.

Johanna Olson-Kennedy — longtime medical director of the now-shuttered Transyouth Clinic at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and one of the most prominent pediatric gender doctors in the country — resurfaced at Prosilio Care after CHLA closed its program. Now Prosilio is shutting down entirely, effective October 1 or sooner.

This matters. Pediatric gender clinics are closing. Hospitals are backing away. Lawsuits, federal scrutiny, malpractice concerns, and growing questions about the evidence behind these irreversible interventions are changing the landscape.

Children struggling with their s*x deserve compassion, truth, and real mental-health support — not puberty blockers, opposite-s*x hormones, or healthy body parts chopped off.
