Fatherhood has a way of changing you in places you never expected.

In this episode, Jake Kastleman shares what becoming a dad has taught him about showing up, staying connected, and finding meaning in the everyday moments with his sons. The messy parts, the growing pains, the little moments that somehow become the ones you remember most.

A thoughtful conversation about the kind of dad we choose to become.

The things we never learn to talk about can follow us into fatherhood.

This week, Jake Kastleman of No More Desire Podcast joins us on the Restorative Man Podcast for an honest conversation about p**n recovery, shame, emotions, sexuality, and raising sons differently than we were raised. Jake opens up about his own story and the work of becoming the kind of man who can meet his children with more presence instead of passing old patterns forward.

It’s a conversation about what happens when a man stops running from the parts of himself he never learned how to face.

Being a good dad isn’t always about creating memorable experiences.
Sometimes it’s what happens in the ordinary parts of the day, when nothing special is planned and there’s no big moment to point to.

This episode of The Restorative Man Podcast explores the everyday places where we can either connect with our kids or miss the opportunity without even realizing it.
The small moments have a way of becoming something much bigger over time.

Two weeks ago we completed our first ever Journey Horsepack experience, and we're still floored. We rode horses, explored the Flat Tops, ate like kings (or shall we say sons), and explored more of what it means to be a beloved son.

Here's how one participant described his experience: "I rode into the wilderness expecting an adventure, but I rode out a changed man. There’s something about the mountains, the horses, the brotherhood, and the time away from everyday life that gives you space to reflect, reset, and come home with a different perspective."
