"Hi! I am Sky, and this summer I conducted research for my master's capstone in Todos Santos, Baja California Sur, Mexico. I am lucky to be here with my good friend, Natalya! Our project examines how rapid tourism growth has affected communities in the Sierra La Laguna Biosphere Reserve. This biosphere reserve is incredibly important because it provides the fresh water to the entire southern tip of the peninsula. If you have ever been to Cabo, all the water you used there came from Sierra La Laguna! It has been so much fun exploring Baja California Sur, and I would recommend that all CSU students visit the CSU campus in Todos Santos." - Skylar

Still buzzing from Euro Summer! 🐝

These students explored healthy habits in Italy through the “Linking Food, Nutrition & Health in the Mediterranean” program. Led by incredible College of Health & Human Sciences faculty members, students got hands-on opportunities to explore the function of food consumption patterns and examine their role in the promotion of health and disease prevention.

📍Dubrovnik, Croatia
🇭🇷Program: API Dubrovnik
📚Area of study: Marine Ecology

“When I wasn’t learning about the ecosystems that make the Adriatic so special, I would spend my days swimming in the crystal clear water, grabbing gelato in Old Town, or trying new Balkan foods. This program was so special, and I was able to travel and make friends from all over the world, including Dubrovnik!” ~ Marin Harris
