Our Executive Director, Seth Forwood, sat down with Representative Andrew Boesenecker for a conversation outside our Homeless Resolution Center last week—just as they did one year ago.

And this is just the beginning of the conversations we’ll be having this October. 🪑

This Oct. 8–9, we’ll be joining a nationwide event, Conversations on a Bench, which brings people together for honest conversations about homelessness, community and hope.❤️

Did you know?

The Homeless Resolution Center will offer recovery services through the new Pathways of Life Recovery Services, LLC (PLRS). This will improve the quality of care we provide—more licensed staff, stronger clinical oversight and the ability to integrate counseling services more fully into our services.

A special thank you to the Larimer County Behavioral Health Services Department 2026 Impact Fund! This funding will allow services like PLRS to provide behavioral health and substance-use care to those utilizing our recovery services who have little or no income and who are facing substance-use disorders and/or mental illness in Larimer County.

We are grateful for the support that makes this important work possible!❤️

Hard Hat Tours continue to create meaningful conversations and excitement as we get closer to opening our new building!

We are incredibly grateful for the groups that have taken the time to visit the site, see the transformation firsthand, and learn more about the impact this new space will have on our community.

Recently, we were excited to welcome:

• Federal Home Loan Bank of Topeka
• Our amazing volunteers, who had the opportunity to pose in front of the new volunteer entrance that we cannot wait to welcome them through soon!

Another week of construction!
Roofing, floor polishing, painting, and concrete work are all underway, and the building is coming together more every day.
With each new milestone, we’re getting closer to opening our new home base and providing more resources, dignity, and shelter to our community than ever before.

For many families in our community, a lack of support can put them at risk of homelessness.

That’s where Fort Collins Rescue Mission’s Prevention program steps in.

After a death in the family, “S” and her children suddenly had to leave the home they shared with their grandparents. As a single mom, "S" was struggling to balance starting a new job, getting her children settled into a new school and keeping up with rent.

When her children’s school connected her with FCRM, timely financial and case management support helped their family remain housed. Today, they are still thriving.❤️

One year later, our Mission is still strong.❤️

It has been one year since a fire caused extensive damage to our Fort Collins Rescue Mission building on Jefferson Street. This past year has brought tremendous change for our guests, staff, volunteers, and donors. As Seth Forwood, Executive Director of Northern Colorado, shared just days after the fire, one thing has remained true:

“Even though our building is damaged, our Mission is not damaged.”

Now, we’re looking ahead with hope and excitement. As we prepare for our new home base at the Homeless Resolution Center come early 2027, we’re grateful for everyone who has helped us get here.
