Molly & Remi recently volunteered as an ATD-certified Pet Therapy Team at the Colorado Bureau of Investigation Forensic Science 2026 In-Service Event! 🐾🐶

They had the opportunity to meet some of the dedicated professionals who support forensic investigations across Colorado and learn more about the important work they do.

Remi was, of course, happy to make some new friends and bring a little extra joy to the day!

Our Partner Agency Leadership Summit brought together leaders from across our Partner Agency network for an afternoon of connection, conversation, and collaboration. Together, we paused from the day-to-day, shared what we’re seeing across our organizations and in the lives of the youth and families we serve, and explored a simple question: Given the reality we’re working in, what can we do anyway? The conversation was honest, thoughtful, and full of possibility. And somewhere along the way, a little more grace found its way into the conversation, too. Because no one can do it all alone. But we can do most of it together. ❤️

Congratulations to our Executive Director of Realities For Children, Craig Secher, on receiving the FBI Director's Community Leadership Award!

Craig was recognized for his vital partnership with FBI Denver in combating child exploitation, abuse, and trafficking in Northern Colorado. Through Realities For Children, he's helped provide emergency support to thousands of children who have experienced abuse, neglect, or are at risk in Larimer and Weld counties.

"FBI Denver is a strong partner in developing education and prevention strategies," Secher said. "I am grateful for this inspiring recognition of our mission and the children we help to serve every day."

A Night of Fun, Laughter & a Little Friendly Competition!

This week, 175 youth and their guardians joined us at Fort Fun for our September Youth Activity—and WOW, did we have fun! The evening was packed with smiles, laughter, and just a little friendly competition. Youth raced around the go-kart track, tested their skills at putt-putt, took a thrilling ride down the big slide, and made a splash on the water bumper boats. And after working up an appetite, everyone enjoyed a yummy pizza buffet! But the fun didn’t stop there. Each youth got to choose their very own stuffie and a book to take home—because a little extra joy and a good story are always the perfect way to end the night. A huge thank-you to Fort Fun and our Volunteers for helping us create another night of fun, connection, and memories for the children and families we are so honored to serve.
