I’ve realized that I’m good at pottery, but not so good at social media. I like filming the process, but rarely show you the end result. I used a new technique with this bowl but never posted the final result. Here it is! I’ll try to do better. This bowl was sold last month, but I plan on making a set of 4 pasta bowls with the same glazing. Love how it turned out!
Out of the 20 mugs I threw this weekend, 3 failed when I went to attach the handles. One had an almost unnoticeable crack, but experience has taught me to recycle the chat now, rather than try to fix it.
Sheep barrettes. New for this years . Now that I said that, I hope they survive the kiln! I want to have enough for everyone so if this interests you drop a note so I can make enough to bring to the event.
Checking out recycled clay.
Recycling some clay. Standard 225. It’s a tan clay. I actually like recycling clay. I find it therapeutic and it can’t be rushed. I probably would enjoy it if I had 100s of pounds to recently every week; this is about 14 pounds.
