What a weekend filled of firsts for our team!

🐻 Calhoun did so good in his heat race. He doesn't have a lot of experience on parking lots tracks so we were excited to watch him learn & grown at Daytona! He hit a BIG goal in his heat race ... passing his brother! Calhoun drove a smart race starting in P7. He was patient and drove well the whole race. Charlie got in the mix with game of cross over with another car & Calhoun capitalized with a last lap pass setting him up to be P1 in the C Main!!! Unfortunately he was scored crossing the line 6th and missed being able to keep fighting in the B. His growth on the track was exactly what we wanted to see and we couldn't be more proud of him. Not all victories come with a trophy and we celebrate every goal reached BIG on our team.

🆑 Charlie dug deeper and fought harder then we have every seen him fight this weekend. 💪
SH - Heat race win and put him into the A Main starting P5. Charlie drove a great race. Watching him work his trail off in lowers all day we knew he was ready for the A Mains. And boy was he!!! Each lap he continued to chase down the leaders. Lap after lap he caught up to P1. He was able to get around P1 and drive off to the sunset. As the laps ticked down we could hardly breath. Winning is a privilege when you race against the best of the country and we're humbled to walk away with his first Sr. Honda Dixie win at such a historic track. 🥇

LWF - Heat race locked him into the A Main starting P4. After getting shuffled by the dreaded outside starting spot, Charlie patiently made his way from last to P3. 🥉

Sr. An - Heat race win locked him into the A Main starting P3. Strong car ... strong finish! P2 🥈

Lt. 160 - Heat race did not go well ... got passed by his bother & another car on the last lap. He start P4 and ended P6 😲 That put him starting the D Main P2! We had a LOT of work to do to get to the A ... and that's just what Charlie did. He dug deep knowing that's what Beckett would do. He drove for Beckett every lap of every lower to battle to the A!

Charlie raced in 10 races all on Saturday ... that is 295 green flag laps. It was a battle and we're so proud of him.

This weekend we owe a HUGE thank you to Talon Chassis!! Mr. Paul, Mr. Rusty & the guys at the shop worked countless hours to get our 5 cars ready for the big weekend. Having Mr. Paul trackside was the icing on the cake. These guys work their tails off for our team and we could not be more grateful for everything they do. 🔧
