The Learning Tree

⭐️CONGRATS⭐️
These 2 dads were the WINNERS of our TLT friendly miniature golf competition.

Way to GO 🏆 fellas.

If we had to choose a picture of the week this would definitely be it. Since we have placed our bird feeder by our window not only have we seen Doves, Blue jays, and Cardinals, but the most playful squirrel stopped by for a visit. Our kids loved it!! Photo taken in our Brave Bears class 🐻.

HUGE Thank You to our TLT staff who made PNO possible. You are the safe keepers, we are grateful for your help 🫶🏽. It was an action packed night filled with crafts, dinner, and FUN!! 🤩

TLT 🌳 Parents Night Out was a BLAST!! POPSTROKE did not disappoint. The food, the weather, and the company was sensational 😎!

These past few weeks we’ve been busy. Exploring and creating with clay, learning about families, making fresh bread, listening to stories, gross motor wall hand stands, outside tunes on steel drum, independent self serve snack, tinkering with loose parts, scooter fun, and journaling while observing tadpoles. Each day our classrooms offer opportunities for growth and development through play.

🐾 Furry Friend Friday! 🐾

Meet Carly! She belongs to one of our very own LT alumni, Reagan, who has been working hard to train Carly as a certified therapy dog. Reagan so graciously reached out to share this beautiful experience with our school. Carly is locally registered through Beasley’s Paw Prints.

Teachers, students, and parents all got to experience the love and sweetness Carly brings. Gentle touches, warm greetings, and plenty of smiles were exchanged as Carly welcomed our friends Friday morning.

We are grateful to Reagan for sharing Carly with our TLT family 💚.

She nailed it.
Exactly how we feel!

Every year, I meet a new group of children. After 26 years, I can’t tell how many children I have met …but I remember the feeling…. that feeling I still can’t name. The feeling of not knowing… And perhaps this is why I still love THE BEGINNING. EVERYTHING is UNWRITTEN. Thank you for extending this thought and letting it travel.💫 . #pedagogy #teaching #earlyyears #education #backtoschool
