Today, Fischer Rescue Squad joins our nation in remembering September 11, 2001.
We remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost. We honor the firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS personnel, rescue workers, military members, and ordinary citizens who ran toward danger when others were trying to escape it.
For those of us who serve, their courage and sacrifice remain a powerful reminder of what it means to answer the call — to serve others without hesitation and to stand together when it matters most.
May we never forget the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, and the families who carry their memory every day.
🇺🇸 We will never forget.

Today at 1436, Fischer Rescue received a call requesting assistance at Little River Canyon National Preserve for a 14-year-old male who had fallen from the top of the main falls. The subject received medical attention at the bottom of the falls before being loaded into a rescue basket and hoisted to the top of the falls, where a medical helicopter was waiting for transport.
We would like to thank all responding agencies and personnel for their quick actions, teamwork, and professionalism during this rescue operation.
Please keep the patient, family, and responders in your thoughts and prayers.
