Eastern LLC
We are the Eastern: Eastern Snow & Ice, Eastern Paving, and Eastern Landscaping.
Did you notice the chill this morning? Our team certainly did.
With temperatures in the upper 40s overnight and mid-60s today, fall has arrived.
For most, that means pulling out jackets not worn since April. For our snow and ice crews, it signals that the season we have prepared for all year is approaching.
Our team has invested significant effort, including training sessions in July, repair school at Stork's Plows, and recent yard time with our newest equipment.
Equipment's ready. Routes are mapped. Properties are scouted. Crews are trained.
Now, we are prepared and awaiting the arrival of snow.
We are not rushing summer to end, but we are checking the forecast more frequently than we did a month ago.
We welcome winter and are fully prepared.

Training is key to getting ready for winter, and our team worked hard this past weekend. ❄️
Our Field Operations Managers went to our Norristown yard to try out our newest machines and review the latest updates before the season begins.
New equipment is only useful if our team knows it inside and out. That’s why our FOMs spent the weekend learning how everything works and getting comfortable with the controls before the first snow arrives.
It's been a busy training season so far: classroom sessions, repair school, and now yard time on the machines themselves. Every step makes our team a little sharper.
Our clients might not see this part of our work. They’ll notice their property is clear and safe all winter. That’s exactly what we aim for. 💪
Look who stopped by this June. Deness Machinery visited our Norristown yard to see our equipment and film what we have. We think it was a pretty impressive lineup.o ourselves.
The funny thing is, that video is already out of date. We’ve added more machines since then, so we might need to film again soon.
Thanks to Deness Machinery for visiting us. Stay tuned for more updates!
Class in session!

Weather like this is perfect for hardscape projects.
Our team was recently out on a client's property measuring, cutting, and leveling new caps for their retaining walls. This precise work really shows in the results. New caps not only improve a wall's look, but also help protect what’s underneath. Mild conditions right now make it a great time to get them done before the season changes.
If your retaining wall or hardscape needs a refresh, let’s chat. 🌿

The seasons are about to change, but our team is still working hard.
Eastern Paving crews are busy across PA, NJ, DE, and MD, making sure commercial properties are ready before winter. We handle crack sealing, pothole repairs, drainage work, sealcoating, and line striping. We do everything your site needs to be in good shape for the cold season.
Here is why acting now matters.
If pavement goes into winter with open cracks or damage, it will not stay in good condition. Water seeps in, freezes, expands, and breaks apart the surface and base. That is how a small crack in October can turn into a big pothole by March.
The work we do now helps protect your property during the cold months ahead.
Conditions are still good, and our crews are working. But each week, the window for repairs gets smaller. Once temperatures drop too low for materials to cure, the season ends until spring.
If you have been delaying that last bit of paving work, now is the time to take care of it. Call us, and we will visit your property and let you know exactly what we can finish before the season ends.
We are ready to help you get it done.

Summer’s winding down. Our season is just getting warmed up.
Last winter kept everyone on their toes, and our crews came out stronger. Now all eyes are on the one ahead.
NOAA has raised the odds of a very strong El Niño to over 90% for this fall and winter, and it could be one of the biggest on record.
For our region, that means more coastal storms and nor’easters here in the Mid-Atlantic, plus milder stretches mixed in. A strong El Niño pushes the storm track south, so the bottom line is a more active winter that’s harder to predict.
That’s a tough season for contractors who wait and react. It’s a good one for teams that prepare.
Our equipment’s getting ready. Our field managers have been training since July. We’re scouting and mapping new properties now, so the plan is in place well before the first flake.
We don’t know exactly what’s coming. But being ready for anything is the whole job.
Bring it on. ❄️

September is here, and for commercial property managers across the Mid-Atlantic, this is the month that determines how your parking lot comes out of winter.
Three tasks belong at the top of your list right now.
Crack Sealing. Every crack in your pavement is a doorway for water. Water freezes, expands, widens the crack, and damages the base underneath. That is exactly how a small crack in September becomes a full pothole by March. September temperatures are still warm enough for proper sealant adhesion, with enough time to cure before the first freeze. This is the window.
Drainage and Catch Basin Clearing. Leaf drop and fall rain are coming. Clogged catch basins mean standing water, and standing water means accelerated asphalt deterioration plus dangerous ice patches once the cold sets in. Get your drainage cleared and inspected before the leaves start falling in volume.
Sealcoating. This is your last real shot until spring. Sealcoating needs temperatures consistently above 50 degrees and time to cure properly. Applied now, it protects your asphalt from oxidation, moisture, and UV damage all winter long, and it makes your property look sharp heading into fall.
Do these three things now and you will spend significantly less on reactive repairs come spring. Skip them, and winter will make that decision expensive.
The Eastern Paving team is scheduling September work right now for commercial properties across PA, NJ, DE, and MD. Let us walk your site and build the right plan.

August is almost gone, but the Eastern Paving team is still going strong.
The seasons may be starting to turn, but paving conditions across the Mid-Atlantic are still solid; our crews are still fully in the field, and we are pushing hard to get every client project across the finish line before the window tightens.
If your commercial property still has work that needs to get done this season, pothole repairs, crack sealing, resurfacing, line striping, now is the time to make that call. Not in October. Now.
Projects completed in this window still benefit from summer-level compaction conditions and go into fall and winter at full strength. The same work done six weeks from now is a different conversation entirely.
Our team will come to your property, give you an honest assessment of what can realistically be done in the remaining season, and get you on the schedule.
The summer is winding down. We are not. Reach out today. 👇
