There is a lot more thought behind a bridal bouquet than most people realize. đ
When I design a bouquet, Iâm not simply asking, âWhich flowers look beautiful together?â
Iâm thinking about the person who will carry it.
What is her personal style? What does her dress look like? What is her height and frame? Should the bouquet feel structured or organic? Soft or dramatic? How will it photograph? How will it look as she walks down the aisle?
Then I think about the flowers themselves.
Which bloom should command attention? Which flowers create movement? Where does the eye need a moment of rest? How do color, texture, shape and negative space work together?
Because a bouquet can be filled with beautiful flowers and still not be beautifully designed.
Of all the floral pieces created for a wedding, this is the one she carries with her.
Down the aisle.
Through her portraits.
Beside the person sheâs marrying.
And into photographs sheâll keep for the rest of her life.
A bridal bouquet isnât just something beautiful to hold. Itâs something deeply personal to design.

Two flower varieties. One color story. Endless possibilities. đ¤
Creating drama in floral design doesnât always require an extensive flower recipe or a bold color palette.
Sometimes, the most impactful designs are the ones that embrace simplicity.
For this installation, hydrangeas provide volume and texture, while lilies introduce movement and an unexpected contrast in shape. Subtle variations of ivory, cream, and green create depth, and intentional placement gives the design its sculptural presence.
The secret isnât in the number of varieties. Itâs in understanding how each flower contributes to the overall composition.
Luxury is not always about adding more. Sometimes, itâs about knowing exactly when youâve done enough.
Swipe through to discover how two flower varieties can create an unforgettable floral experience.

Today, Iâm writing this to motivate myself.
There was a time when I was afraid to talk about the hard parts of business.
I wanted it to look like I had it all together. And when I didnât, I thought it was better to stay quiet than to burden people with the parts that felt like failure.
But the truth is thisâŚ
There are seasons when Iâm tired, confused, and unsure of my next moveâwondering if what Iâm building is actually going to work.
And Iâve learned that some of the greatest opportunities for growth come from the most transparent places.
There is strength in grinding in silence. But there is also authenticity in being honest about the process.
Everyone and I mean everyone in business experiences highs and lows.
Donât let social media convince you otherwise.
Someone elseâs season of success doesnât mean theyâve never struggled. And someone else doing well doesnât mean youâre doing something wrong.
Sometimes youâre growing.
Sometimes youâre rebuilding.
Sometimes youâre figuring it out as you go.
The goal is to keep going.
Because one day, the part of your story you were once afraid to share may be the exact part that inspires someone else not to give up.
Hereâs to building, learning, adjusting and being transparent enough to admit that none of us have it all figured out. đ¤

Five years later, we still remembered each other.
I met Angelica Wheaton during a pivotal season in my business. She runs Pacific Business Partners in Long Beach, California, and Iâm the founder of Perfectly Adorned Event Decor in Washington, DC, but distance never got in the way of building a genuine connection.
Her logical way of thinking complemented my analytical mind so well. Over time, our businesses naturally evolved in different directions, but the respect and connection remained.
About a month ago, she reached out while visiting Washington, DC, for the very first time. I was so excited that we finally had the chance to meet in person! It honestly felt like we picked up right where we left off.
One of the greatest investments you can make in business is in your relationships.
Not because youâre hoping to get something in return, but because you genuinely value the people you meet. Sometimes the opportunity doesnât come right away. Sometimes it never comes in the way you expect. But meaningful relationships have a way of opening doors, teaching lessons, and creating moments you never could have planned.
People may forget the details of a conversation, but they rarely forget how you made them feel. Build the relationship first. Everything else has a way of following.
Flowers werenât the story.
They helped tell it.
For this Juneteenth celebration hosted by MasterCard, IHG, and Chase, every design decision was intentional from African-inspired vessels to a floral palette celebrating the beauty of the African diaspora.
The goal wasnât simply beautiful centerpieces.
It was to create an atmosphere that honored culture, complemented the cuisine, and gave guests an experience they could feel the moment they walked into the room.
Because the best event design doesnât just decorate a spaceâit tells a story.

This is the moment I design for
People think floral design is about flowers.
I donât.
I design for this moment.
The moment someone pauses mid-conversation because the room feels beautiful.
The moment a guest instinctively reaches for their phone.
The moment a space becomes part of the memoryânot just the backdrop.
Because the best floral design doesnât ask for attention.
It quietly shapes the entire experience.

Normalize giving men flowers. đ
Yes, men deserve flowers too.
For promotions.
For milestones.
For birthdays.
For retirements.
For celebrations.
For simply being appreciated.
Flowers donât have a gender. They create a feeling.
Letâs retire the idea that beautiful florals are only for women.
Itâs Spring & Flowers Are in Full Bloom đ
