Happy Labor Day, friends! đșđžâš
I know for many, holidays can be a really special time, however, if youâre in recovery, they can also feel tough.
I just want to encourage you that you can get through this day strong. đȘđ» â„ïž
A few things that help:
-đ«¶đ»stay close to your people.
-đ«¶đ»have something in your hand (a fun drink, a healthy snack), and know itâs totally okay to step away if you need to. ïżŒ
Most of all, remember that itâs not about whatâs in the glass, itâs about whoâs around the table. đ«¶
You are stronger than you think, and every single choice you make to protect your sobriety is a victory. One moment at a time~youâve got this. đ«

Happy Labor day weekend!!
We just completed âïž a 4.5 mile run đââïžđđœââïžtogether
(We are Training together for Fort Wayneâs Fort 4 Fitness 10k at ages 49 & 50.)
Something we have Learned together and a friendly Reminder for all of usâŠwe donât need drugs or alcoholđ„ this Holiday to have fun, laugh until our stomachâs hurt, dance like nobodyâs watching, or make memories we will cherish forever. đđ„°
This holiday weekend, we are choosing to be PRESENT. Fully present for the conversations, the laughter, the people I love, and all the little moments I might otherwise miss.
Because when we shift our focus from what weâre drinking or eating to WHO weâre with, we realize we can walk away feeling full in all the right ways. â€ïž
And if youâre bringing a snack, hereâs a simple + healthy tray everyone will love:
đ„ Nuts & dried fruit
đ„ Fresh veggies
đ§ Meat & cheese roll-ups
âš Put it all on one big tray and you have an easy, colorful option to share!
And we are so grateful for moments of clear-minded, present, and making memories with the people I love. â€ïž
Recovery starts with a decision.
Not everything has to change today. But one step can. đ€
1ïžâŁ Decide you want something different
2ïžâŁ Be willing to let go of whatâs keeping you stuck
3ïžâŁ Take the first stepâtoday
And if you donât know where to begin, you donât have to figure it out alone.
There is hope. There is freedom. There is a new way forward. â€ïžâđ©č
Your future is worth fighting for.
Take the first step.

The breakthrough youâre praying for begins with one step of faith. đ€
Recovery didnât start when I had everything figured out.
It started the moment I believed there could be something better.
I didnât know what life without alcohol would look like. I didnât know if I was strong enough. I just had enough faith to take the next right step.
Thatâs the beautiful thing about recoveryâyou donât have to see the whole journey. You just have to keep saying âyesâ to today.
If youâre struggling, wondering if change is possible, let this be your reminder:
You donât need perfect confidence. You just need enough hope to take the first step.
One day.
One choice.
One step of faith.
The rest unfolds from there. â€ïž
If youâre ready to take that next step, weâre here to walk alongside you. Reach out to Living Free Recovery at (260) 218-8299. Hope, healing, and freedom are possibleâand your journey can begin today.
If you or someone you love is struggling with addiction, there is hope đ·
When my family member finally got help, it didnât just change their lifeâŠit changed our entire family.
Healing created a ripple effect that brought peace, restoration, and hope back into our home.
What once felt broken slowly began to heal⊠one step at a time.
This is why Living Free Recovery exists. Because when one person says yes to healing, it can change generations.
Our summer sessions and programming are now open, and this is your invitation to take that first step toward healing and support.
Your story can be a success story tooâbut it starts with taking action. đ€
Send us a DM or call us at 260-218-8299 to get enrolled in our summer programming.
God gets all the glory in every restored life & Living Free can be a catalyst.
Success starts with a vision of your highest self.
Not the version of you stuck in survivalâbut the version who is free, grounded, and living with purpose.
Recovery begins the moment you start asking different questions:
Who am I becoming?
What does my highest self look like?
What am I ready to release to get there?
Letting go of addiction isnât just about what youâre removing itâs about making space for who youâre meant to be.
One choice at a time. One step closer to alignment.
If youâre in a season of wanting more for your life and your recovery, you donât have to figure it out alone.
Our inbox is open if youâre ready to take that next step. âš 260-418-8299
Today we chose progress over perfection.
Not because everything feels easy⊠but because we are learning that healing doesnât require perfection to be valid.
It just requires presence.
Recovery isnât linear. Some days feel strong and steady, and other days feel uncertain and heavy. But we are still here. Still showing up. Still choosing to keep going, even when it doesnât look how I expected it to.
I used to think I had to âarriveâ somewhere to be doing this right.
Now I understand that every small step counts even the quiet ones no one sees.
If youâre in a season where things feel messy or inconsistent, youâre not behind. Youâre in it. And being in it still means youâre moving forward.
One day, one choice, one breath at a time.
If youâre ready to start your own journey toward living free, weâre here for you.

What if the passions and gifts God gave you were never meant to end with this life?
God didnât create you with passions, gifts, talents, creativity, and personality by accident. Every part of who you are was designed by Him, on purpose. The things you love, the way you serve, create, encourage, lead, build, and connect⊠those are all reflections of the One who made you.
You werenât made to sit around doing nothing for eternity. God uniquely shaped you here on earth, and His plans for you donât stop in heaven. â€ïž
The same God who wired you with purpose now is preparing an eternity far greater than we can imagine.
The same God who wired you with purpose now is preparing an eternity far greater than we can imagine.
Thatâs part of His plan for your life, and another reason why recovery matters so much.
Healing and recovery help clear the path so you can fully walk in the purpose God created you for.
