Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana held a business and education leadership celebration at the Grand Wayne Convention Center with more than 400 people in attendance!

“Each of these honorees, and others who support the partnership of business and education, offer young people connections to those who encourage them, challenge them, and sometimes help them see a future they haven’t yet imagined for themselves,” says Lena Yarian, President of Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana. “And during the 2025-2026 school year, community leaders like them made it possible for JA to provide 184,000 learning experiences – more than 2.6 million hours – that impacted young people across our communities.”

Feel Good Story: A few months ago FDC was asked if we were interested in donating to help outfit New Haven Police officers with AED’s. We immediately said yes. After only a few weeks of being in service, we found out today that one of the donated AED’s was first on scene to a subject in cardiac arrest. The officer delivered one shock to the patient and continued CPR until EC Fire/EMS arrived and the patient regained a pulse and was transported to the ER!
