Still getting it done though

Catching up on old work so I can focus on re-opening with a clean slate! Yeah you read that right. I have 4 bikes left.
GL1100 70% complete
Xv1900 95% complete
Kz750 30% complete
2017 custom chopper 85% complete.

Breaking ground on the home shop hopefully soon, and currently ALSO in talks about opening up a commercial shop for OCD again.
Im a little excited about everything here!

I miss my ultrasonic cleaner today! Just means I have to break out the toothbrush and work a little more. 43 years of dirt and ethanol fuel on these GL carbs means they are getting a full rebuild. There isn't a single passage thats open.

Feels good to be making progress. Noticing more and more how I miss doing this full time and how I really should have stuck to what I know I'm good at.

Was really close to having to make a hard line for this return. Or even having to run an electric return pump. But this option actually clears everything

Going to grab a couple of those metal bendy tabs that go under bolt heads to tie the line down and keep it in place. Now it's time for the WG!

Time to make the return line, then a good cleaning, paint, and install with a new gasket!

Oil feed done. Tomorrow I'll be working on the return line and some misc wiring so we can fire this thing up !
Oh, and weld up the WG fl**ge and actuator.

I'm back baby! Buttoning up a few long term (my bad) projects and pulling my head out of my butt.
Coming to the conclusion that I won't be opening up a storefront any time soon. That's where all my energy has gone for the past 3 years.
I won't be taking anything new until this backlog is gone. Really wish I could do this full time again, but right now it's just not in the cards.

In other news, I could show you 4 different ways NOT to wire the ignition coils on a GL500. Ill let you know here tonight if that number is 5.
