The making of songs is a long process and as the excitable person I am, I want to share things right away with those of you that are here waiting and excited with me. If you’re one of those people, I have the loveliest Patreon community (43 people to be exact) that have decided it’s a fair trade for me to share with them early releases of songs (in their fully finished stages and in their scrappy-rough-draft-really-bad-voice-memo stages) in exchange for a few bucks each month.
This year I essentially “accidentally” recorded a record. Aka, I was thinking, “Okay, I’ll only recording one or two songs just for fun. Or maybe three. Ya know what, let’s just do four since we’re already here. Actually, five feels like a nice round number, let’s do that. Okay, I have a few more we could just track down if we wanted to see if they fit well with the others”…and so on.
I haven’t really said much about it. Mostly because…I didn’t know it was happening.
I don’t have a release date (I’m meeting with my team this week to figure that out), and a few songs are still getting finishing touches, but a handful of them are done. For those of you that have stuck here with me (some of you all the way back from almost 10 years ago) and are excited to be the first to hear some new music, I’ll be sharing “Empty-Handed” tomorrow on my Patreon (every tier level).
I’ve never been so thrilled about and proud of a project and I’m truly so grateful just to get to make songs. Thanks for being here

this is a picture i took after i did a bad job cutting my own bangs.
mostly i just wanted to give you a heads up that shows are coming. about half of these don’t have tickets up yet so HOLD YOUR HORSES. no need to run off searching for the link in my website just yet (except for the other half, which do, in fact, have tickets up). maybe just save the date in your calendar.
