Apples in the basket. Time in the pumpkin patch and on the porch. Something new for the wall, perhaps?
What are you up to this Fall? Tell me below.
October has a way of turning into a whole season of small hauls. "The Primaries" could be this weekend's special find.

Mass-produced decor fills a blank wall space, but artwork by an artist changes how a room feels to live in. As we enter cozy season, that vibrancy is important.
"Fall's Fire" comes from one working artist, not a warehouse. Have a closer look. Remember I create my collages from paper. No paint.

It's darker earlier now that it's officially fall. Tell me, do you like the ten minutes before the house wakes up, or are you a night owl?
Cozy nights and quiet mornings pair well with art.
Here's "What Lies Beneath" for you to ponder today.

From my collection, this is: "Rick Rubin Rules"
Shop At: https://www.scrapscollage.com
Rick Rubin is a music producer who wrote an excellent inspirational book for artists of all types - The Creative Act: A Way of Being. I read his chapter "Rules" and it inspired my to break a few of my own. Rick Rubin Rules is the result of my changing things up from my typical artistic preferences.

It's October! Have your blankets and sweaters come out of storage? Is the nesting instinct kicking in?
How is the art in your home making you feel? Could "Are We There Yet?" earn a place in your favorite place this season?

Matching is for socks. Art is supposed to have a little friction with its surroundings.
How about a work like "Bourbon Street"? Could it add something to your space for the exact reason that it doesn't blend in perfectly?
Check out the rest of the gallery to find the one that adds just the right touch.

Floral Fantasy with Lemons
Last summer in Santa Barbara I found a great spot called Art From Scrap. I discovered the treasure of a collection of old calendars featuring the vibrant art of a watercolor artist named Sara Steele. This is the second piece I created by repurposing her art. I didn't want to name it Floral Fantasy II, so it is officially Floral Fantasy with Lemons.

Final day. "Indian Summer" and much of my available artwork are still WGD2026-eligible for 25% off, but the World Gratitude Day sale ends tonight. The original "Indian Summer" is sold, but many other originals are available. As always, prints are available for all the art on my website. Prints are available in a variety of sizes and can be printed on paper, canvas, wood, metal and acrylic.

I appreciate all of you who follow me and support my work as an artist! I create collages because I love the act of creating. But it is certainly nice to share the results with others. Thank you for all your LIKES, SHARES, and COMMENTS!
