We had such a fun night at our Women’s Ministry BLINGo!

Everyone brought the bling and sparkle, enjoyed a delicious homemade dinner, and had lots of laughs playing Bingo together.

A HUGE thank you to our Women’s Ministry Team for all the time, planning, cooking, decorating, and hard work that goes into making these gatherings so special. We appreciate you so much!

Such a sweet morning celebrating Tracey and Jim. There were definitely mixed emotions as we said goodbye - we are so proud of Tracey and excited for this next chapter, but we will miss them both so much.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the reception so special, from the food and decorations to the kind words, memories, and prayers shared throughout the morning.

San Augustine is truly blessed to be receiving not only a wonderful pastor, but an incredible ministry team! We’re cheering you both on and praying for all that God has ahead!

What a fun day at our Third Grade Bible Retreat!

Our 3rd graders searched all over the church campus for clues, eventually leading them to a treasure chest filled with something pretty special - their very own new Bibles!

Later, during the Bible Presentation, they unwrapped their Bibles one layer at a time while learning the meaning behind each layer. One of the layers included comics…and most of the kids had never seen them before. 😳 Yep, that made some of us feel a little old! 😂

Thank you to everyone who helped make the retreat and presentation such a fun and meaningful experience for our 3rd graders.

And the adventure isn’t over - they’ll start digging deeper into their new Bibles this Sunday!

What a great night at our Fall Kickoff Dinner!

It was so good to gather together as we kicked off a new season of Bible studies, ministries, and opportunities to grow and connect at First Frisco.

A very special thank you to our youth, youth parents, and leaders for cooking the most delicious HOMEMADE lasagna for everyone! It was SO good, and all the time and effort that went into preparing it was very much appreciated.

Thank you to everyone who joined us - we’re excited for all that’s ahead this fall!

What a special day celebrating 20 years of the Silver Sombrero Sisters!

We enjoyed a delicious lunch catered by The Chocolate Angel and a wonderful message from Shannon Vowell about the value of friendship, supporting one another through every season of life, and the importance of treasuring those relationships - and teaching others to do the same.

For 20 years, the Silver Sombrero Sisters have shared life together - the joys, the challenges, the laughter, the tears, and everything in between.

We also had the opportunity to honor Pastor Tracey and celebrate the special place she holds in the hearts of so many in this group before she leaves for San Augustine.

Thank you to everyone who helped make today’s celebration so special, and to all the women who have been part of this ministry through the years. Here’s to 20 wonderful years and the friendships still to come!

Our HOPE Disaster Relief Team has returned from Kerrville, Tx, where they continued helping families recover from the devastating floods.

The team spent their time working on drywall, decking, fencing, cleanup, and more - doing the hard, hands-on work needed to help homes and lives begin to come back together.
One homeowner was also given one of our prayer blankets and was so appreciative - not only for the help with her home, but for the prayers and reminder that she is not walking through this season alone.

We are so grateful for this team and their willingness to serve, especially through the long days and Texas heat. Thank you for putting your faith into action. A special thank you to Texans on Mission for providing housing, meals, tools, and materials for our team!

At the retreat, they will follow clues on a special treasure hunt, leading them to their very own Bibles. Each one is wrapped in multiple layers, with each layer carrying a special meaning. What an exciting afternoon for these young disciples as they discover God’s Word and get ready to dig deeper into God’s Word this year!!

Today our pastors and staff shared a special lunch with Pastor Tracey, filled with stories, laughter, and so many favorite memories about Tracey and Jim.

They will both be greatly missed, but they will always be a special part of the First Frisco family. We’re so grateful for the ways they have loved, served, encouraged, and walked alongside our church family.

Fall is almost here, and we’re kicking off a brand new season of programs and adult studies! Join us for a delicious dinner of lasagna, salad, and garlic bread (provided by our youth) and a chance to connect with friends old and new as we celebrate all that’s ahead at First Frisco.

A few special moments from Mark and Maggie’s trip to South Africa for the 2026 Global Methodist Church General Conference!

Pastor Mark shared that the Holy Spirit moved in mighty ways throughout the gathering, and he believes the work of this General Conference will bear fruit in local churches around the world.

The conference elected eight full-time bishops, approved the Articles of Faith by an almost-unanimous vote, and brought together delegates from across the globe. We’re especially excited to welcome our new bishop, Bishop Jonathan Lee, beginning November 1, and to host GMC bishop onboarding at First Frisco in October!

Maggie also had a wonderful time connecting with delegates from around the world. We’re grateful for the relationships built, the decisions made, and the ways God is at work through our global church. We look forward to hearing more from Pastor Mark this Sunday!
