It's here! "The Great Divide" is now available to stream on all major platforms (YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music), and coming soon to our Bandcamp page. It's our first full-length album, a follow up to last year's EP "Skin & Bones." What can we say about it...

There is an old wisdom that grief, as much as love, makes one more spiritually attuned in its time, as if it rips open the fabric of your psyche, making it raw and feral and open to letting things - of all kinds - in that are normally shut out by the requirements of day to day living. Impermanence can feel incomprehensible when we are faced with its reality. The world seems off kilter, off balance, like it will never again be right when we are forced to confront an absence of what was once present. And yet when we do, in the midst of all the sadness and confusion, as we stumble around with the wind knocked out of us, the world sometimes, somehow, contradictorily, feels still alive, maybe more than ever, imbued with everything all at once that we've ever touched or been touched by. Maybe time, presence, memory, and physical energy are much more complex than we perceive. The album title, "The Great Divide," speaks to this concept as much as the songs do: how all the dividing lines between what we have and what we've lost, what's there and what we can no longer see and experience in the present, can feel both huge and impactful and maybe not quite even real at all.

We are also playing an album release show that night at The Catamount Lounge. Ophie will be kicking off the show at 7 PM and Curvy Tooth takes the stage around 8:30. Be there or be square!!
