Everyone's Favorite Classic Hard Rock / Heavy Metal Cover Band. Rocking SoCal since 2002. We Rock! The party doesn't stop... it keeps getting better.
Much more than just a simple cover band, METAL101 is a way of life. These four life long headbangers have been rocking Southern California since the early 2K's. Delivering a high energy show that features the greatest classic hard rock and heavy metal anthems of all time. The mega-hits and the fan favorite album cuts from artist A through Z. The band has performed at many of the region's top venues such as House of Blues, The Troubadour, The Coach House, The Observatory (The Galaxy) and the late great Saint Rocke, just to name a few. The band, features the same line up since day one:
Juan Carlos (Lead Guitar)
Kevin Landrum (Drums, Vocals)
Joe "The Metal Machine" Avalos (Bass, Vocals)
Armando Vega (Guitar, Lead Vocals)
If you are a fan of Headbangers Ball, the legendary KNAC or 80's rock/metal over all, this is the band for you.

IMPORTANT SHOW UPDATE
With heavy hearts, we need to postpone our upcoming show this Friday at Bobby V's Cocktails in Anaheim due to unexpected serious health issues within the band.
We truly apologize to our fans, the venue, the promoter, and the other bands on the bill. With the show just two days away and no way to put together a last-minute solution, we felt the best move was to postpone and return with the level of performance and energy you expect from Metal101.
We are staying hopeful and focused on a full recovery. Iggy's House Presents will announce a new date soon, and we look forward to seeing you all again very soon.
Thank you for your support and understanding. \m/
