Our office just received news from our Loch Leven Camp and Conference Center manager regarding the “Green Fire” burning nearby its property line. Please keep in prayers all of the families and creatures that call this sacred place home.

We are grateful for the directors, counselors, musicians and keynoters who volunteered their time to put on three impactful and memorable weeks of camp "In the Wilderness" at Loch Leven Camp & Retreat Center. We also celebrate our partnership with Christian Church in Arizona and the blessing it is to work together for the youth in our regions!

Our PSWR Disciples shined at the inaugural 2026 CC DOC General Assembly online. We celebrate an amazing sermon by Rev. Dr. Jonathan Hall and a beautiful rendition of “I Remember, I Believe by Rev. Dr. Belva Brown Jordan and the gifted mind of Mr. Bill Bailey as Parliamentarian. We are grateful and blessed. Looking forward to next year’s GA!

The 2026 General Assembly 2nd day will be available online tomorrow, Saturday, July 17 @ 8 am – 3 pm PDT and at Local Gathering Sites at First Christian Church, 1130 E Walnut Avenue, Orange, CA 92867 and Iglesia Nueva Vida, 4055 Jurupa Avenue, Riverside, CA 92506 - Closed Caption in Spanish. PSWR Disciples are ready and online for the 2026 General Assembly Local Gathering Sites - First Christian Church Orange and at First Christian Church North Hollywood with the GA opening sermon by its Senior Pastor Rev. Dr. Jonathan Hall. “Even when the fog and sharks come…. Love Surpasses.” Thank you to all our wonderful hosts and friends. The Triennium of GA has begun!! Hooray!!

We celebrate an outstanding Young Adult Retreat April 24-26, where young adults from San Diego to Bakersfield (and as far away as Vancouver!) gathered at Loch Leven for a weekend of fellowship and renewal. Among the 25 retreaters were regular participants in regional life, long-lost friends of Loch Leven, and first-time attendees alike--and every one of them drew closer as family through worship and play.

Many thanks to the Young Adult Committee for their hard work planning the retreat, and to the Leadership Committee for generously sponsoring it. Given the success of our first retreat, expect to see another on the calendar next year!
