KIBO WAS ADOPTED TODAY! 🥹💙🐾

From China to Florida, Kibo’s journey has been a long one — and today, it officially led him HOME.

This sweet boy has been through more travel and change than most dogs ever will, but every mile was worth it for this moment. Seeing Kibo surrounded by his new family is exactly why we do what we do.

Thank you to everyone who donated, shared, transported, supported, and helpeld make his journey possible. You were all a part of getting Kibo to his happily ever after.

Happy Gotcha Day, Kibo! 🏡💙 We hope your new life is filled with adventures, treats, belly rubs, and so much love.

Until Every Husky Has a Home.

🇺🇸🐾 9/11 — WE WILL NEVER FORGET

Today, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the first responders who ran toward unimaginable danger.

We also remember the four-legged heroes who served beside them. ❤️🐾

Hundreds of search-and-rescue dogs and their handlers worked tirelessly at Ground Zero and the Pentagon—searching through rubble, locating survivors and remains, and bringing comfort during some of our nation's darkest days.

They didn't understand the magnitude of what had happened.

They simply knew there was a job to do.

Today, Swampland Husky Rescue honors every person and every working dog who answered that call, those who came home, and those whose sacrifices will never be forgotten.

Courage comes in many forms. Sometimes, it comes on four paws.

🇺🇸 Never Forget. 9•11•2001 🇺🇸

🐾 $5 FRIDAY — A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY! 🐾

Swampland Husky Rescue is still here, still strong, and still fighting for the dogs who need us most. 💙

Today, we’re asking our community for something simple: $5.

Five dollars may not feel like much, but when all of us come together, those $5 donations become food, veterinary care, transportation, training, supplies, and second chances.

We specialize in taking on the dogs who often need a little more — seniors, medical cases, behavioral cases, and dogs who simply need someone willing to fight for them.

💙 If you can spare $5 today, please donate.
💙 If you can spare more, we are incredibly grateful.
💙 If you can’t donate, sharing this post costs nothing and helps tremendously.

Every $5 adds up. Every share matters. Every dog deserves a chance.

🔥🐺 OCALA — GET READY FOR SWAMPLAND. 🐺🔥

Rescue is in a crisis.

Husky rescues across the country are closing their doors. Others are hanging on by a thread.

But Swampland is still here.
Swampland is still fighting.
And Swampland is STRONG.

This October, we’re going ALL. OUT.

We’re showing up to our Ocala events ready to make some noise, meet our community, find homes for some incredible dogs, raise desperately needed funds, and show everyone exactly who Swampland Husky Rescue is.

We may be a small rescue — but there is absolutely nothing small about our mission.

🐾 Seniors others overlook.
🐾 Medical cases that need a fighting chance.
🐾 Behavioral dogs who need understanding instead of being given up on.
🐾 Huskies who have traveled hundreds — even thousands — of miles to reach safety.

We fight for the hard ones.

And now we're putting down roots and building something in Ocala that we intend to make bigger, stronger, and impossible to ignore.

So, Ocala…

You’re about to see a LOT more of Swampland. 😏🐺

October is only the beginning.

Until Every Husky Has a Home. 🖤

🐾 BALDR UPDATE — WEEK THREE! 🐾

Good Boy — now Baldr — is doing AMAZING at board & train. ❤️

We’re officially in his third week, and every week we’re seeing more of the dog underneath all that fear and mistrust.

And apparently… Baldr LOVES belly rubs. 🥹😂

Seeing him relaxed, trusting, and comfortable enough to flop over and ask for affection is HUGE. This is exactly why we invested in giving him the time, structure, and professional training he needed.

But we need help keeping it going.

We are broke. Baldr’s board & train is $650 per week, and we need to raise $650 for this week.

Even $5, $10, or $20 gets us closer. Every donation helps us continue giving Baldr the chance to become the happy, confident dog we knew was in there. 🐺💙

💙 Donate here:

Can’t donate? Please SHARE. It costs nothing and could put Baldr’s story in front of someone who can help.

Baldr is doing the work. We just need help giving him the time to keep doing it.

🐾 FULL BOWLS = HAPPY HUSKIES! 🐾

Our pack eats A LOT, and right now we could really use some help keeping our food supply stocked! 💙

Food is one of our biggest ongoing expenses. Every bag donated means more of our rescue funds can go toward vet care, heartworm treatment, training, transport, and the other expenses that come with saving dogs.

You can help by donating toward food or sending a bag directly to our rescue through our Amazon Wishlist:

https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/34BBJR1DVZZGW?ref_=wl_share

Even one bag of food makes a difference. If you can't donate right now, sharing this post helps too!

Thank you for helping us keep those bowls full. 🐾💙

🚨 EVEE NEEDS A SAFE INDOOR HOME 🚨

Evee is an 8-year-old Shiba Inu whose family has fallen on incredibly difficult times. What was supposed to be temporary has become long-term, and due to severe asthma in the home, Evee can no longer live inside.

She’s loving, loyal, calm and low-energy. Once you’re her person, expect to have a little Shiba shadow following you everywhere. ❤️

We’re searching for either a LONG-TERM FOSTER or FOREVER HOME where Evee can feel safe and secure again.

🐾 Best without small children or small animals
📍 South Florida — willing to travel for the right home

We know a long-term foster is a big ask, but we have to try for her.

Please SHARE. Evee’s person may be one share away. 🐾❤️
