Located in the quiet community of Sunset, Texas, OG Cellars was founded by husband-and-wife team James and Sammi Hanger. After spending nearly two decades in the oil and gas industry, James discovered a passion for winemaking during a trip to Sonoma. He immersed himself in the craft, worked harvests at Texas wineries, and in 2016 turned that dream into reality. The winery's name, OG, comes from the initials of their daughter, Olivia Grace, making it a true family legacy.

Today, visitors are welcomed with handcrafted Texas wines, sweeping vineyard views, wood-fired pizza on select days, and the kind of warm hospitality that keeps guests coming back. Whether you're enjoying a tasting on the patio or watching the sun dip below the North Texas horizon, it's the perfect place to slow down and savor the moment. Visitors consistently rave about the beautiful setting, friendly owners, and relaxed atmosphere.
