Quick turf tip: September is crucial for fall overseeding. 🌱

Keep your lawn mowed at the proper height and well watered now, it sets the stage for thicker grass when you overseed in October. Warm soil plus cooling air temps this time of year gives grass roots months to establish before winter, so the prep work you do now pays off.

Today we're highlighting one of our projects: Roosevelt Square 🐉

Deep Roots led the landscape transformation of Roosevelt Square as part of Gainesville's downtown revitalization, an important space surrounding the historic courthouse and Administration Building.

The project brought new sod, plant beds, and trees for green space, plus a full hardscape upgrade with retaining walls and stone and brick pavers. Beneath the courtyard, a new drainage system ensures long-term durability. Beneath the dragon sculpture, a wave-patterned paver design creates a striking visual anchor.

The result is a welcoming, multi-functional space that reflects Gainesville’s heritage while supporting its future.

First impressions are everything. The entrance to your business tells customers what to expect before they even walk in. 🌿

Deep Roots handles commercial entrances end to end, from retail centers to office parks to auto dealerships, with skilled design, installation, and maintenance expertise we bring to every property.
