Two years ago, we had the privilege of helping Anew step into a new chapter through a rebrand.

One of the greatest gifts of that project was getting a closer look at the people behind the mission.

Over the years, we've been continually inspired by Alison Ungaro and the Anew team as they serve women in our community with incredible courage, compassion, and hope. Their commitment to restoring the lives of those impacted by s*x trafficking and s*xual exploitation is evident in everything they do.

While we haven't spotted a cape, we're pretty sure Courtney has superpowers. 😆

As our Manager of Administration, Courtney somehow manages to do it all. Her hospitality and thoughtfulness are felt by everyone she encounters, and she has a gift for making people feel seen and heard. Whether she's remembering the little details, celebrating a teammate, or helping a client, she brings a level of care that's hard to put into words.

And that care doesn't stop when she leaves the office. Outside of the studio, you'll often find Courtney working in her garden, spending time with friends and family, or picking up a new hobby! 🎨🌻☺️

When you walk through the front door of PHOS Creative, one of the first things that catches your eye is likely our Light Wall.

Each one of those bulbs represents something this team celebrated together. A new client partnership, a new team member, care center launched, or anything deemed worthy of fulfilling our mission. When a moment like that happens, the whole team gathers and someone adds a new bulb.

The wall is our reminder of how our mission is being fueled and why we keep showing up, and we couldn't be more grateful for every bulb on it. 💛💡

This quarter, our team has been diving into The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry and Unreasonable Hospitality as part of our focus on intellectual flourishing.

One of the best parts has been hearing the different perspectives everyone brings to the conversation. We're learning a lot, asking challenging questions, and enjoying the opportunity to grow together along the way.

Today, we're celebrating Mike's 9-year workiversary at PHOS! 🎉

As our WordPress Developer, Mike helps build websites, solve complex problems, and somehow always seems to know exactly what's causing that mysterious site issue. 🧐

Part of what makes Mike's perspective so unique is his love of creating. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring Illustrator, creating 3D renders in Blender, and even designing and building his own board games. Whether he's troubleshooting a website or building a game from scratch, he brings the same curiosity and creative problem-solving to everything he does. 🧑‍💻♟️

When someone brings him a website question, he doesn't just fix the issue. He takes the time to explain what happened and walk them through the solution, leaving them more confident than when they arrived.

Mike, thank you for the expertise and thoughtfulness you bring to our team every day. We're so grateful to have you at PHOS!

As summer comes to a close, we’re excited to see what fall has in store for us (probably lots of fall-themed coffees and pretending it’s not 100 degrees outside).

The Digital Campaign team took a break from building campaigns to enjoy a team lunch together! We're grateful to have a team that makes time to connect and enjoy each other's company outside the day-to-day. 💛

As a Digital Campaign Specialist, Lizzy brings creativity, warmth, and intentionality to everything she does. From dreaming up engaging social media content to collaborating with the team to bring campaigns to life, she serves our clients with thoughtfulness and excellence. Outside of PHOS, you’ll probably find Lizzy exploring the outdoors, traveling somewhere new, thrifting for a hidden gem, or cooking up something delicious. 🗺️🍳
