It's Friday! Hope to see you this afternoon at Poultry Park!

Election Subversion Strategies, such as tactics to confuse voters and disrupt election procedures, are still in full force, especially for the midterms. Make a plan to vote early and in person! Your midterm vote matters!

Have you double-checked your voter registration? Have you asked your family to check theirs? Your neighbors? It takes one minute. Go to MyVoterPage.com and make sure the address on your registration matches your government-issued ID. And if you've moved anywhere within Georgia, even just across town, you still need to update your registration. The last day to register for this election is Monday, October 5. Don't let anyone you know get turned away at the polls over something this easy to fix.

Make plans to join the Indivisible Hall Gainesville Event at Poultry Park on 10/17 from Noon – 2 PM. This year, the “No Kings” mobilization across the country is moving from protest to supporting nonpartisan voter participation in EARLY VOTING in the election to combat efforts in our country to undermine trust in our elections, weaken voting rights, and make it harder for people to have their voices heard.

One of the most effective ways to restore balance in our country is to elect candidates on every level who have shown they are willing to ask tough questions, conduct meaningful oversight, and uphold the Constitution rather than defer to any one person. Voting in Georgia’s Midterm Election empowers YOU to help determine who represents you locally and statewide. Plan to vote EARLY to avoid any issues. These midterms matter!

Thoughts to consider, especially when preparing to vote.

“Human kindness has never weakened the stamina or softened the fiber of a free people.

A nation does not have to be cruel to be tough.”

-Franklin D. Roosevelt

The dots on the map show that you won’t have to go too far to participate in a “No Kings: Early Voting” event on October 17! Make plans to join the Indivisible Hall Gainesville Event at Poultry Park on 10/17 from Noon – 2 PM. More information is in the comments below.

This year, the “No Kings” mobilization across the country is moving from protest to supporting nonpartisan voter participation in EARLY VOTING in the election to combat efforts in our country to undermine trust in our elections, weaken voting rights, and make it harder for people to have their voices heard. Voting early gives citizens the power to make our voices heard on our own terms, before Election Day, before any last-minute chaos, and before anyone else can decide what happens next.
