This month we are highlighting sickle cell warriors who participated in the “I Am Warrior” poetry project, a collaboration with Streetlight and UF Health Shands Arts in Medicine to celebrate the strength, resilience, and lived experiences of our patients. We invite you to listen to one of our poem highlights, created by our friend,Jay, who shared, “I am Javarious, I am 23 years old and my favorite thing to do is play video games and make music.”
