Trusted Volunteer 10/06/2026

Volunteers are what turn a donation into something someone can actually use.
When clothing arrives at Trusted World, it isn't ready to fill an order.

It has to be sorted, checked and organized by type and size before our staff can find exactly what a school counselor, police officer or caseworker has requested.
That's where our volunteers come in.

Every shirt sorted, every pair of jeans organized and every box prepared becomes part of a system that allows our partners to get the right resources to the right person.

You don't need special skills. You don't need to make a long-term commitment. You just need a little time and a willingness to help.

Spend a few hours volunteering at Trusted World and help us keep the system moving.

How Trusted World Works - Trusted World 10/06/2026

What happens when a school counselor realizes a student needs clothes?
Without the right resources, that counselor may spend time searching for an organization that can help, making phone calls, checking availability, figuring out eligibility, and finding a way to get the clothing to the student.

Trusted World changes that.

Our partners order the exact sizes their client needs through our system. Trusted World staff picks the order, and our drivers deliver it on our regular weekly route.

The counselor gets to remain the counselor.
The caseworker remains the caseworker.
The police officer remains the police officer.

Trusted World handles the resources so professionals can focus on the people they're there to serve.

That's what it means to be part of the Trusted World network.

Drop Off Locations - Trusted World 10/05/2026

The weather is changing. Our clothing needs are changing with it.
Trusted World partners are already ordering clothing for the families they serve, and as temperatures begin to drop, those orders start to look different.

We need winter clothing.

Coats. Jackets. Hoodies. Sweaters. Long-sleeve shirts. Jeans and other cold-weather clothing for children, teens and adults.
The best time to donate winter clothing isn't when the first cold front arrives. It's before it arrives.

That gives our volunteers time to sort every donation by type, size and gender so our staff can quickly fill an order when a school counselor, police officer or caseworker needs it.

If you're cleaning out closets or have winter clothing your family has outgrown, Trusted World can put it to work.

Donate winter clothing now so it's ready when someone needs it.

Data is King Workshop - Mission Metrics 10/05/2026

Your nonprofit has data. The question is whether you're actually using it.
Every nonprofit collects information—people served, programs delivered, donations received, volunteer hours, outcomes.

But collecting data and using data to make decisions are two very different things.

This Wednesday, Trusted World Founder and CEO Michael Garrett is teaching Data Is King, a free workshop designed specifically for nonprofits.

We'll look at how to take the information you're already collecting and use it to better understand your organization, make stronger decisions, and tell a clearer story about your impact.

Trusted World - Helping People Help People 10/02/2026

Someone experiencing homelessness doesn't stop needing support once they begin moving toward stability.

In many ways, that's when a whole new set of needs begins.

This week's Partner Spotlight is The Bridge Homeless Recovery Center in Dallas.

The Bridge works with individuals as they move through different stages of recovery and toward greater stability and independence.

Trusted World supports The Bridge during Stages 2 and 3 of that process.

When someone reaches the point where clothing, shoes, toiletries or other basic resources can help them take that next step, The Bridge's team can request what that individual needs from Trusted World.

The Bridge knows the person.

They understand where that individual is in their journey and what will help them move forward.

Our job is to make sure their team has access to the resources to do it — at no cost.

That's what partnership is supposed to look like.

The Bridge does what they do best.

Trusted World provides the resources that help them do it.

Trusted World - Helping People Help People 10/02/2026

What happens when a school counselor realizes a student needs shoes?

Or a police officer meets a family who suddenly has nothing?

Or a nonprofit caseworker discovers a client needs clothing before starting a new job?

They shouldn't have to start searching.

They should already know where to go.

Trusted World works with hundreds of schools, law enforcement departments and nonprofit organizations across North Texas so the professionals already helping someone can request the resources that person needs.

They place the order.

Our staff picks it.

We deliver it on their regular schedule — at no cost to the partner or the person receiving the resources.

The professional stays focused on the person.

Trusted World handles the resources.

We're not trying to replace the organizations doing the work.

We're building the system that helps them do it.

A student keeps sitting out during gym. - Trusted World 10/01/2026

A student keeps sitting out during gym.

You are the school counselor.

The PE teacher tells you a student has started avoiding activities and regularly asking to sit out.

Maybe he doesn't like PE.
Maybe he doesn't want to participate.
Maybe there is something else going on.

You talk with him privately.

That's when he tells you the truth.

His sneakers are hand-me-downs from an older sibling. They're now too small, and running in them hurts.

The visible problem was participation.

The actual problem was a pair of shoes.

And that changes the question completely.

What do you do next?

That’s the Real Choice.

Give - Trusted World 09/30/2026

This morning, we shared the words of someone who received resources through Trusted World:

“I like how I am not alone in these difficult moments.”

There are a lot of people behind that sentence.

The professional who recognized that a family needed help.

The volunteers who sorted the donated resources.

The Trusted World staff who picked the order.

The driver who delivered it.

And the donors who help pay for the system that makes all of it possible.

Financial donations help us keep the warehouse operating, our trucks on the road, our staff picking and delivering orders, and resources moving to professionals throughout North Texas who are helping people every day.

The resources we distribute are provided to our partners at no cost.

But making that possible has a cost.

If you would like to help us continue doing it, make a financial gift to Trusted World.

Trusted World - Helping People Help People 09/30/2026

“I like how I am not alone in these difficult moments.”

Those words came from someone who recently received resources from Trusted World through one of our partners.

We asked what receiving those resources meant to their family.

“The resources I received from Trusted World helped me and my family by providing things we needed and making it easier to take care of my children. The support helped reduce some of the financial stress on my family and made me feel like we were not alone.”

They also told us:

“It gave me some relief and helped me provide for my children during a difficult time. I felt grateful knowing that people cared about my family and were willing to help us.”

Food, clothing and personal-care items meet an immediate need.

But sometimes what the person receiving them remembers is something much simpler:

They weren't alone.
