Tomorrow, Monday, August 17, beginning at 12:00 PM, Calumet Township Trustee will continue their relief efforts with a Community Cookout and Emergency Food Voucher Assistance at the Calumet Township Multipurpose Center.
American Red Cross Reps will also be on site to connect residents with available disaster relief resources and information.

🚨 There are A LIMITED NUMBER OF EMERGENCY FOOD VOUCHERS REMAINING FOR TOMORROW. Assistance will be provided while available.

Please come with patience and respect for the Calumet Township staff and one another. Many members of the Township team are also still without power in their own homes, and the Township facility remains without power as well.

Despite those challenges, the team is continuing to show up and do everything they can to serve the community during this difficult time.

Below are a few resources for families who may be in need.

YWCA Shelter & Resource Hub
The YWCA is currently serving as a primary shelter hub for residents impacted by the storm and power outages. Families have access to:

* Free meals throughout the day
* Showers and charging stations
* Beds for overnight stays
*Food trucks will be at the site for families who wish to purchase food

Families are welcome to utilize the shelter and stay as long as needed.
