GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!
Power has been restored to GPTC’s Operations Facility. Gary Transit will be running the full service day beginning August 21st. While there may be missed trips (some vehicles were damaged during the derecho), service will not be ending early.

SERVICE UPDATE (8:39AM): The Bmx will be operating hourly from Metro beginning at 9; the 8AM departure will begin service from University Park (35th/B'way at 8:40.

SERVICE ALERT (Friday, August 21): GPTC will again be running a modified Saturday schedule. R3 departures from Metro will be at even hours; Bmx departures at odd hours. There will be regular service on routes R1, R2, L1, L2 and L3. Routes R4/R6 will run a Saturday schedule.

SERVICE ALERT (continued): The Bmx is currently delayed as it is being fueled, and will resume service from Metro at 10AM. Other routes will suspend service at 10AM for fueling, and resume at 11:00AM.

SERVICE ALERT (Thursday, August 20): GPTC will again be running a modified Saturday schedule. Bmx and R3 departures from Metro will be at even hours. There will be regular service on routes R1, R2, L1, L2 and L3. Routes R4/R6 will run a Saturday schedule.

SERVICE ALERT (Wednesday, August 19): GPTC will again be running a modified Saturday schedule. Bmx and R3 departures from Metro will be at odd hours. There will be regular service on routes R1, R2, L1, L2 and L3. Routes R4/R6 will run a Saturday schedule.

SERVICE ALERT (Tuesday, August 18): GPTC will again be running a modified Saturday schedule, with hourly service on the Bmx and regular service on routes R1, R3, L1 and L2. Routes R4/R6 will run a Saturday schedule.

SERVICE ALERT (2:45PM): The Bmx has resumed hourly service from Metro.

SERVICE ALERT (9:14AM): Service will be suspended from 10a-11a for fueling of vehicles.

SERVICE ALERT FOR MONDAY: GPTC plans to run a modified Saturday schedule. We will work to provide service on routes not covered since the storm, and will provide details on Monday morning.
