Most people will clap for you when you’re overweight because you’re trying.

The second you actually become better, disciplined, and confident, some of those same people start calling you a show off, cocky, or arrogant.

Don’t fall for that.

A lot of people will project their own insecurities onto you because your discipline reminds them of the promises they made to themselves and never kept.

Being in shape doesn’t make you a bad person.Having standards doesn’t make you arrogant.

Taking care of yourself isn’t showing off.Never shrink yourself to make insecure people feel comfortable.

Keep showing up.

Keep training.

Keep eating right.

The people who matter will respect your discipline.

The ones who don’t were never rooting for you. They were only comfortable with the version of you that made them feel better about themselves.
