Creekside Eventing

Busy weekend doing some field maintenance at Creekside. By paying attention to field management and capping herd size, our Tifton fields and turnout are still lush and green during this dry spell.

What an incredible weekend for our team at the Haras Mid Summer Dressage Show in Magnolia! ❤️🐴

We are beyond proud of all of our riders, our trainer, and of course our amazing horses. Everyone put in so much hard work, and it showed in the ring! Even more impressive, many of these horse-and-rider pairs primarily compete in eventing, making these dressage results against tough competition even more exciting.

✨ Congratulations to:

🏆 Sherri & Stormy – 1st and 2nd place finishes and a regional qualifying score!

🏆 Emma & Anna – Four 1st-place ribbons and Reserve High Point Champion for one day!

🏆 Tolga & Bob – Two 2nd-place finishes, a 3rd, and a 4th. We’re so lucky to have Tolga’s knowledge and dedication guiding our team.

🏆 Kensington & Tessa – Four 1st-place finishes in only their second show together! They earned High Point Champion on day one, Reserve High Point Champion on day two, and an incredible 70.4% national qualifying score.

🏆 Re*****on & Peter Pan – Four 1st-place finishes and huge improvement in only their second show together with very little prep time.

To everyone who represented our barn this weekend—thank you for your hard work, sportsmanship, and dedication. Watching each partnership grow is why we do what we do.

We are enjoying the brief July cool down at Creekside and both dressage and jump arenas that are ready for lessons this afternoon even after 3” of rain! More time to prepare for the dressage show in Magnolia this weekend!

Great job Creekside riders at the Bluebonnet Classic show! Everyone did amazing!

Simone and Norbert got 1st in 3rd level freestyle and 3rd level test 3. And champion both days in 3rd level.

Oliver, at his first dressage show, earned regional qualifying scores with Tolga in training level!

Jade and Oliver earned Reserve Champion and Champion in her division at the show!

Greta and Oliver earned a 2nd and 3rd place finishes!

Sherri and Stormy got 2 first place finishes and 2 qualifying scores for regionals.

Tolga and Bob qualified for regionals in training level test 3 and had a qualifying score for first level test 3

Re*****on and Peter Pan, in Peter’s first dressage show, received 3- 2nd place finishes and a 3rd place finish with one qualifying score for regionals. Huge improvement through the show. Ended with Reserve Champion.

Kensington and Tessa in their first dressage show together earned first in training level test 2 both days and second in training level test 3 earning regional qualify scores. They also won 2 Reserve Champions.

Yesterday was Creekside's Christmas party at the cabin! We had an incredible time with Secret Santa and White Elephant gift exchanges. Thanks to everyone who came and made it special, and we missed those who couldn’t make it. We're so thankful for our amazing barn community.

🍁 A Beautiful Fall Day at the Barn 🍂

It’s one of those perfect autumn days — sunshine, crisp air, and the horses happily grazing in the fields. Hard to believe it’s been three years this week since we opened our facility!

That first year had its share of ups and downs, but now, with our amazing trainer of two years, our supportive boarders and riders, and our hardworking barn team, things are running almost on autopilot. All we really needed was the right people.

Days like today remind us just how far we’ve come. We’ve let go of the negativity from those early challenges and feel proud and thankful for the beautiful, peaceful place we’ve built — where the horses are happy, the riders are thriving, and everything just feels right.

As owners, we’re always reinvesting in the things that make a real difference: footing, pastures, fencing, and other improvements that help create a safe, happy environment for both horses and riders.

We’re also looking forward to the new upgrades and improvements we’ll be making in the coming months — and hopefully adding a cover over our dressage arena before the next three years are up. 😄

There aren’t many barns like ours in the area, and we’re truly proud of what we’ve built together. To our trainer, clients, riders, and staff — thank you for believing in our vision and helping make this place what it is today. Here’s to progress, perseverance, and a bright future ahead. 💪🐴❤️

I know it is just hay but we geek out a bit when our supplier up north has steamed orchard alfalfa. This stuff is so amazing! The amount of alfalfa leaf retention is ridiculous and how green it is! You can really tell the difference between this hay and the local Tifton 85 bale in the picture. Only the best for our babies. Thank you Simone, Levi, Hector, Maria, and Steve for helping late into the night individually stacking the 820 bales.
