Apple Stacks

“Sweet” is the word that sums up this weekend. I even looked up a song by the word. No surprise the first choice was Dolly. ❤️
Bringing Apple Stacks to my home was special, and dishes just happened to be the avenue that got me there. A flood of
*childhood memories coming over me today…(family, friends, Mill Road Place, Nanny’s house in Cogartown, charging snacks to my parent’s account at Corner Grocery, the creek, Midway Elementary School, the train whistle, riding bikes ALL over, Midway Baptist).
*David and Kiaya hanging right in there
*Sitting with one of my best childhood friends as she explained Apple Stacks to everyone that would listen (I froze up)😂
*My parents in their special place talking to friends and acquaintances they’ve known forever. And being the first to arrive and set-up
*New sweet friends that sat and visited for hours
*Talking to the pastor that married us 27 years ago
*a new love for cinnamon rolls
*Precious people sharing the best stories
*Our sweet tent neighbors
*Catching up with Georgetown and Versailles friends
*Steve Zahn basically coming out the trees from basically nowhere😂
*The people that have worked so hard to keep Midway special. ❤️
My heart was full from set-up to literally sundown.
