Before Chef John Braga opened Milano Trattoria with his wife, Roxy, he built his career in high-end New York and New Jersey restaurants—cooking for legendary names including Frank Sinatra, John Travolta, Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and Brooke Shields.

But what makes Milano truly special isn’t the celebrity résumé. It’s the deeply personal food.

Chef John learned traditional Italian cooking in his mother’s kitchen, and today, he still makes nearly everything from scratch—including bread, pasta, ravioli, and desserts. His famous Sinatra Pasta was originally created for Frank Sinatra, while his legendary Osso Buco takes nearly two days to prepare.
