First let me say, if it wasn’t for SCSU, I wouldn’t have met some of the most amazing people I still call friend today. This particular person was one of my favorites. I’ve had some time to reflect on the passing of my best friend & I want to lead with this. TIME WAITS FOR NO MAN. This has been one of the most painful experiences I’ve ever had in my adult life. Although I’m certain I will have others, losing someone you could truly bare your soul with hits differently. The trust, the bond, the understanding, the unconditional love, support, & encouragement that one raw person can give accounts for 20 people. You were my 20 people in 1. We all get so consumed with life and its hardships & keep putting off things and people you think will always be there. Damn I just thought we had more TIME. What will homecoming season look like without you? Cause boy you loved your HBCU down to the ground honey!! ❤️💙 I thought I’d be able to hear your infectious laugh for rest of our lives, to dance & boost each other, for you to tell me to stop yelling at my boys because, “They are just lil boys Krissy & they gonna always be into s**t, SO LEAVE THEM ALONE!” Cause the way you loved on my babies was unmatched. The way you praised and poured into Jacori’s cup… My Dee, my best friend. I’m so grateful I was able to give you your flowers while you were here. Get your rest in the Lord arms. We loved you something fierce, but he loves you best. Until we meet again, I promise imma hold it down & I hear you. LOUD AND CLEAR. “YOU BETTA DO IT KRISSY, YASSS!” It’s done. 💔

Proof of life, scratch that… proof that I’m living. Cheers to doing the work & stepping in real life. Show up & show out for everything you believe in. Dreams only come to those who sleep, wake up and put the work in. 💙

I’m always weary about posting my younger boys on social media, people can be so weird but I had to post about how handsome they are growing up to be. ☺️ My baby boys both had their last spring fling and sneaker ball with their current schools this week. I’ll soon have a kindergartener & a 6th grader. Jacori is moving into his sophomore year at USC… I’m just 🥹, yeah… boy mom life in full force. God made them special for me. ❤️‍🔥 🥹

My baby love married her best friend Saturday. It was so beautiful!!! 😮‍💨 A union wrapped in love. I can’t wait to see what’s next for them. Love all things love. 🫶🏽💎
