At GCA, each of our classes begins the day with something that matters most: Bible time, worship, and prayer.

Before the lessons begin and the busy day gets underway, our students have the opportunity to open God’s Word, lift their voices in worship and spend time in prayer together.

We are so thankful for the gift of being able to point our students to Jesus each morning and remind them that He is at the center of all we do. 💙

🎉 Happy Birthday, Mrs. Lopez! 🎉

Today we’re celebrating our wonderful 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Lopez! We’re so thankful for the love, patience and joy she brings to her classroom each day. She has the special gift of making learning fun while helping her students grow in confidence, character and faith.

We’re blessed to have Mrs. Lopez as part of our GCA family and hope she feels extra loved and celebrated today!

Our first garden-to-table product is here!

Our Ag students recently harvested basil from our new GCA garden and turned it into something they could take home and share with their families. They washed the basil, picked the leaves from the stems, dehydrated them and then mixed the dried basil with salt to create their very own basil salt.

Each student got to take home a bottle of their finished product, and we love that they got to experience the whole process from garden to kitchen to family table!

This is just the beginning of what our students will be growing, creating, and learning through Ag at GCA. We can’t wait to see what comes next! 💙

Mark your calendars for our first Spirit Night of the new school year!

We’re headed to one of the kids’ favorite spots, Camp Briteside, on Wednesday, September 23rd from 4–8 PM!

Grab dinner, bring the family, let the kids have some fun and support Parents of GCA while you’re at it.

What a beautiful morning celebrating our GCA grandparents! 💙

Our morning began with donuts and coffee, and we are so grateful to 7-Eleven on Williams Drive for generously providing the coffee for our special guests.

We then gathered for a special chapel and Bible lesson led by our very own Mrs. Herman, who is not only our amazing kindergarten teacher but also Nana to one of our GCA students. ❤️

We closed chapel with a beautiful time of prayer as our grandparents gathered around our students, laid hands on them and prayed aloud over our children and our school.

We are so thankful for the grandparents who are such a special part of our GCA family. Thank you for loving, encouraging, praying for and pouring into our students. We are blessed by you! 💙

Optional Day is coming up!

Monday, September 21st is our next Optional Day, and whether you need it or not, it’s simply more fun than staying home! Our students get to spend the day playing with their friends, enjoying fun activities and joining in on all the creative things Mrs. Smith has planned.

If your child would like to join us, please sign up by Monday, September 14th by scanning the QR code.

Happy Labor Day, GCA families! Today we’re thankful for the hard work, dedication, and contributions of the people who make our communities stronger.

We hope you enjoy a relaxing day with your family and a little extra time to rest, recharge, and enjoy the long weekend!

Picture Day is coming up at GCA!

Individual Picture Day will be Wednesday, September 17th from 8:00–10:00 AM. We’re excited to have our very own GCA mom, Christianna Bettis Photography , behind the camera capturing those sweet smiles!

And here’s a fun bonus: Christianna is also offering sibling pictures! GCA siblings can take a photo together, and siblings who don’t attend GCA are welcome to join in too. So if you’ve been wanting a picture of all the kids together, this is the perfect opportunity!

We’re so thankful to have talented GCA families like Christianna sharing their gifts with our school! More details on scheduling coming soon.

School is officially in full swing!

There’s just something special about seeing our campus come alive each morning.

Our 4th graders have been exploring the science of gravity using balloons, while our Kindergarteners are learning about God’s creation right in our new garden.

From the little moments in the hallway to hands-on learning in the classroom, we’re so thankful for the joy, curiosity and community that make each day at GCA so special. 💙
