This summer at Art Camp, the children explored the theme "Knit Together"—discovering that we are wonderfully made, deeply loved by God, and woven together in community with one another.
It seemed only fitting that our worship would follow those same threads.
We are taking a journey through the Book of Ruth, one chapter at a time. Ruth reminds us that God's faithfulness is often woven through the ordinary acts of everyday people. Thread by thread, day by day, lives that seemed to be unraveling are knit back together.

Faith Baptist Church warmly welcomes you as we gather to celebrate the life and cherish the memory of Mariann Harlan. Today, the church family joins the family of Mariann Harlan in giving thanks to God for her life, her faith, and the many ways she touched the lives of those around her.
As we worship together, share memories, and reflect on God's promises, we pray that this service will bring comfort, hope, and peace to all who knew and loved Mariann. May the Lord's presence strengthen every heart as we honor her legacy and rejoice in the assurance of eternal life through Jesus Christ.

Throughout Scripture, some of the most pivotal moments in God's story don't happen in the temple courts or the city centers — they happen on the mountainside.
This is not a coincidence. Mountains in Scripture are *thin places* — where heaven and earth draw close, where God interrupts ordinary life with something extraordinary, where people arrive one way and leave completely changed.
Today we wrap up our summer series exploring mountains in Scripture with guest preacher Greg Earwood.

For nearly four years, Elizabeth King has faithfully served as Faith's pianist, leading us in worship week after week with extraordinary talent, grace, and heart. Since joining us as a freshman at UK, we've had the privilege of watching Elizabeth grow—not only as a gifted musician, but as a thoughtful worship leader and remarkable young woman. We've also loved cheering her on every step of the way, from the piano bench to the Miss Kentucky stage!
This fall, Elizabeth begins an exciting new chapter as she moves to Louisville to start her career with PNC Bank. While we're sad to see her time as our pianist come to an end, we're incredibly grateful for the gifts she has shared with our church family and excited for all that's ahead.
Please join us tomorrow for a reception immediately following worship as we celebrate Elizabeth and thank her for her faithful ministry among us.
And don't worry—we're already hoping this is more of a "see you later" than a goodbye. We fully expect to welcome Elizabeth back to Faith as a flutist in our Christmas orchestra! 💙🎶

Our crew had a fantastic week at Passportkids! Camp in Berea this week. We look forward to hearing more from Cora and Rebekah about their experience in worship this week. HUGE thanks to Cynthia Williams Insko for being our camp chaperone extraordinaire✨
