Northern Elementary PTA

Today each student will be receiving a little fun pen as a token of appreciation from the PTA!

Each student is so important to our school and we want to know they are a shining star 🌟

We want to hear from our school community your thoughts for how to utilize funds for this school year. The PTA had a staff membership drive to reward the group of staff that all joined would receive an Alani Bar! We had the fifth grade team all sign up the night before launched the drive, and the After School Team all signed up together during open house.
Earlier this week we brought all six teachers their drink of choice to thank them for joining! Fifth grade teachers were actively teaching so I didn’t get a picture, but I was able to meet the After School Shooting Stars staff and get a picture.

We are so grateful for our teachers! We love having as many teachers, staff on our PTA.

Teachers belong in PTA! 🍎💙

The “T” in PTA stands for Teachers—and that includes all educators, administrators, and school support staff.

PTA is stronger when educators have a voice at the table. Let’s work together to support every student and strengthen our school communities!

Teachers, we want you in PTA!

The PTA General Meetings have been planned for the year. We hope everyone can come join us to help share your voice on how to best support every child that is apart of Northern!

During the first meeting we will be reviewing our budget plans for the year, and updates to our by-laws. In order to cast a vote on the approval of either item you must be a PTA member. We will have memberships forms available at the meeting. You can also join via Givebacks: https://northernelementarypta.givebacks.com/shop

There is a SBDM meeting tomorrow 8/17, 3:15 in the library

Today we treated the staff to floats to celebrate “crushing the first week of school”
We had a great time getting to talk and reconnecting with the teachers. Next time I’ll remember to take photos instead of just talking the whole time 😊

Thank you to the staff and families that have joined PTA! We are off to a fantastic start of the year.

Thank you Mrs Sidebottom for joining PTA!!

We will be heading up to school soon to be ready to meet everyone tonight at open house!!
