Lax’n Splash 🥍💦 Session 1 recap:
1st, Thank you to to all of our amazing high school players and coaches that helped and made this such an informative and fun couple of days.
1. We worked on fundamentals of ground balls
2. Focused on the importance of using soft hands when receiving the ball using water balloons
3. Worked on proper shooting form (power and accuracy)
4. Had a shot speed contest with a speed gun
5. Practiced basic and some advanced dodges
6. Showed the importance of body positioning and playing the hip on defense (with and without a stick)
7. Snuck in plenty of conditioning as games
8. Played more skills based contests
9. Live, full-contact scrimmages
10. Had some awesome lunches and snacks thanks to our amazing support staff 🍎🥪🍕🌞
Here’s a way to get you High Schoolers involved and coaching Middle/Elementary. 💦🔫 End of camp day 1, it’s hot, we’ve run all day, why not cool the kids down through a gauntlet of high schoolers with water guns? Win-win!

Ella Houtz — our boys varsity goalie — has been named to the American Select 2028 Texas team. 🥍🇺🇸
Ella holds it down between the pipes against varsity boys' shots every single week, and now she's representing Texas on a national stage.
That's what TEAM, ACCOUNTABILITY, and GRIT look like.
