Georgetown County Economic Development

Georgetown County offers an ocean of opportunity for businesses of all sizes. We, along with our partner agency, the Alliance for Economic Development, want to help you explore those opportunities and see all our stunning community can provide. The county's economic development staff provides both assistance programs and expansion services. The county has simplified the regulatory process by creating a one-stop shop for your local permitting and code requirements. Not only will the staff walk you through this process, but they are also happy to aid in site selection, development and planning, and identifying incentive opportunities for new and expanding businesses.
