September 26 was National PTO/PTA Appreciation Day, and we’re taking the opportunity to celebrate the incredible volunteers who step up to LEAD, GROW, and SERVE our school communities! 💙💚🧡

Across Georgetown ISD, we have 90 registered board members serving across our 17 PTAs—along with many more serving on committees! These dedicated leaders give their time, talents, and hearts to support students, families, staff, and schools throughout our district.

To our PTA leaders — THANK YOU for your commitment, your leadership, and everything you do to make a difference for every child. We appreciate you today and every day!

Thank you to those who have volunteered to help make our Color Run a fun and successful event! Your role is to help at an assigned color station during your scheduled time.

All volunteers must have a current background check on file. Be on the lookout for an email from the coach with more details a few days before the event. Volunteers will be assigned a color station by Coach.

When you arrive, please check in at the gate and pick up your pre-printed volunteer badge. Once you have your badge, head directly to the track and report to your assigned color station.

Please arrive at your assigned time and remain at your station for the duration of your scheduled time slot. When your time slot ends, please exit through the gate promptly so we can transition to the next group of volunteers.

For safety and to help us maintain our campus procedures, volunteers should not remain at the event or stay with their child after their volunteer time has ended.

We appreciate you donating your time and helping us create an awesome Color Run experience for our students!
