Why Bulk Buying Makes Sense

Buying ammo in bulk isn’t just for high-volume shooters — it’s for anyone who wants to save in the long run.

By splitting a case (often 10 boxes) with friends, you get the cost benefit without storing more than you need.

With our Bulk Ammo Buy Program, large orders often qualify for free freight, making the savings even better.

Do You Accept Out-of-State Transfers?

Yes — with one rule: Out-of-state fi****ms must come from a licensed FFL.

If you’re buying from a private seller in another state, they’ll need to ship it through their local FFL to us.

Once it arrives, we’ll schedule your appointment, complete your background check, and get you on your way.

Signal Fi****ms is a small, home-based FFL — not a chain store.

That means we can focus on personal service, fair pricing, and supporting local clubs, ranges, and events.

When you work with us, you’re helping keep Vermont’s shooting community strong.

Thank you to all our customers and friends who’ve supported us since 2018!

When Signal Fi****ms started in 2018, it was just me, a laptop, and the kitchen table.

Now, we’re operating from a dedicated office built right into my garage — designed for comfort, privacy, and speed.

This space has helped me make your transfers quicker and easier, with digital forms and electronic background checks that keep most visits under 10 minutes.

It’s still small, it’s still personal — but it’s a big upgrade from the kitchen table days. Here is a pic of my new desk! Yes i am still working on improvements!

Want to make your transfer smooth and fast? Here’s what to bring:
🔹 A valid, government-issued photo ID.
🔹 Proof of purchase or invoice (if applicable).
🔹 Any required supporting documents.
🔹 Yourself — ready to complete the background check.

That’s it! Have these ready, and you’ll be in and out in no time.

Vermont law sets mandatory waiting periods for certain firearm transfers — either 72 hours or 10 business days, depending on the situation (13 V.S.A. § 4019a).

At Signal Fi****ms, we handle your paperwork digitally so the process itself takes minutes — but the legal wait is something no FFL can waive.

Knowing this in advance can help you plan your purchase or transfer without surprises.

📋 Tip: Keep your ID and paperwork ready so we can complete your side of things in under 10 minutes.
