Earlier this month, long-term care leaders from across the country gathered in Washington, D.C., to advocate for policies that support residents, caregivers, and providers.

We’d like to take a moment to thank Michael Jacobs, President and CEO of the Pennsylvania Health Care Association, for joining us at our PA Legacy Market award ceremony earlier this spring, where he shared insightful sentiment about the state of the long-term care industry.

State association leaders play a critical role in ensuring the voice of long-term care is heard at both the state and federal levels. We are so appreciative of his and all of our state health care associations’ continued partnership and advocacy on behalf of long-term care.

In celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the United States, we are using bulletin boards outside of therapy to celebrate. One will contain crossword puzzles, coloring pages for the residents, family, and friends to grab and complete. The other one has a map and we want to receive postcards from every state. Let's make this a nationwide effort! Please help us by reaching out to family and friends in each state to send us a post card!

As National Skilled Nursing Care Week and this year's "Moments in Bloom" celebration come to a close, we wanted to end the week with a potluck luncheon. We truly enjoyed every dish! Thank you for making our week so special. We loved sharing this time with you all! Thank you Chef Greg, our Maintenance Manager for grilling today.

We're so excited to celebrate National Skilled Nursing Care Week with our team wearing their favorite sports teams! Kaitlin shared our delicious lunch, which included assorted sandwiches, macaroni salad, and chips.
