Busy days 🐾

We are one week away from Junie B and Warren (now Tater Tot) getting spayed/neutered and then they go to their new home! Bitter sweet spending these days with them!

Looking for a foster home for Miss Louise! 🐾

Louise is an absolutely beautiful, approximately 1½-year-old girl who is full of personality, affection, and enthusiasm for life. She spent about a year in the Casa Grande shelter before moving into foster homes, where she has spent the last 10 weeks learning what it means to be part of a family. She has adjusted wonderfully to life in a home and does very well with routines.

Louise is crate trained and potty trained and knows basic commands and recall—although she occasionally gets “sit” and “lay down” mixed up! She is smart, eager to interact with her people, and continues to learn. She could use some additional leash training, but she has already been making progress.

At home, Louise is incredibly sweet and affectionate. She loves being close to her people, playing fetch, and enthusiastically removing every last bit of stuffing from her favorite toys. She has lots of energy and would love a home where she can stay active, play, explore, and then settle in with her family.

Louise does have a big, energetic play style. She can become too intense when playing with another dog who does not match her energy or play style, so she would likely thrive as the only dog in the home or potentially with a carefully matched dog who enjoys the same type of active play. A home that can continue providing structure, training, exercise, and lots of love would be ideal for her.

After spending so much of her young life in a shelter, Louise deserves the opportunity to find the home that is truly the right fit for her. She is affectionate, playful, goofy, beautiful, and genuinely seems to love every minute of life. She has so much love to give and will make a wonderful companion for the right person or family.

We are growing daisies 🌼 Miss Grace was spayed yesterday which means she is officially ready to go to her starting Sunday!
