Never underestimate the power of a solid lowlight piece. had the length but wanted more fullness in the front. Common in those blonde babes. We did 1 row with 6 pieces. 2 pieces of 18/60 with a 8 in the middle on each side with them overlapping to make 6 in the back. It turned out perfect with just the right amount of dimension. Do you add solid pieces in your blondes for dimension?

I honestly always thought I would make the BEST boy mom. With three older brothers it just felt right. But having 3 besties that truly are so much fun and that I adore. Goes to show you that sometimes what we think we want is not always what we need. I am so grateful for each of these faces.

We gave her the refresh...
She came in for her move up after 8 weeks. Her own hair was still perfection so we didn’t have to touch it. We took out her extensions and gave them a good shampoo and toned to freshen with 10p and clear for 10 min. We reinstalled using and she was out the door in 2 hours! Now that’s magic!

These Salty Racks are our newest addition and we couldn’t be more THRILLED!! Being behind the chair myself and listening to the concerns of other stylists I thought ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! We fixed all the major problems of the traditional extension holders so now you can blow dry the roots (and between each weft) of the extensions with ease, it fits the width of the full wefts AND my personal favorite thing is the suction is PERFECTION!! We can’t wait for all our Salty Pros to get their hands on these! Keep a look out on the shop! They launch 9/25!!

Your faded out extensions are not counting as a color melt!
Are you taking the time at every appointment to look at the wefts as they come in? So many factors can causes your clients extensions to fade. The sun, not using the right products, time, and hard water, just to name a few.
Sometimes a toning gloss is what they need. Sometimes a lowlight and a tone. As the professional it is our job to make sure our clients are getting the most out of their hair and that is looks top notch every single time they walk out our door. I typically plan on 30 extra min for this if I don’t have my assistant with me that day.
Don’t skip this step. Your clients will appreciate the extra effort and you will have more pride in your work as they leave you with a new found confidence in themselves.
Are you doctoring up your returning extension clients extensions?

When Bella came in her hair had faded. She was originally a number 4 in but had faded after 6 months to more of a number 6 in saltyhairextensions. We freshened her and her and she left a new woman. Formula breakdown below..
Equal parts 5n and 4nb and the half of that with the new color 6abn. I let it sit on the extensions 12 minutes and her hair 15 minutes. That 6abn color is amazing for cutting warmth but keep in mind it will appear a level darker because Of the ash undertones! .
