Classic Car, No Key. Not a Problem for ACME.
This is a door lock cylinder from a 1968 Mercury Cougar. No key existed for it. We made one from scratch.
Classic and vintage cars are a specialty for us. Old locks like this one require a different skill set than modern vehicles. There are no computer codes to pull, no key fob to program. You have to know the lock, know the keyway, and know how to work with what you have. We do.
If you have a classic car that needs keys, give us a call.

Lost Your Keys? We've Got You.
We make new keys from scratch, no original required.
What you're seeing here is our shop technician making rv keys using is a technique called impressioning. We insert a blank key into the lock, work it to leave marks on the blank, then file it down based on those marks. We repeat that process until the key turns. No original key, no code, no problem.
RV door locks are one of the more common calls we get for this. Owners lose their only key on a trip, or buy a used RV with no keys at all. Either way, we can make keys for you.
We put together a YouTube video showing exactly how this works if you want to see the full process: youtu.be/1uZjyWVcglI
We've been making keys in Phoenix since 1997. If there's a keyway, there's a good chance we can make a key for it. Give us a call or visit the link in bio.

He had locks but no keys. We fixed that.
Customer came in with a doorknob for his home. He had no working house keys. So we read the existing doorknob, decoded the cuts, and originated a fresh key from the lock. Best part? That one key now works every lock in his house that shares the same key.
We do this all the time. No need to drill or replace anything.

This door closer install could get someone sued.
Take a look at this. Came across on a locksmith forum this morning. The arm is angled wrong, the bracket is jury-rigged with a spacer block spare pieces of brackets. A door closer this far out of spec won't close properly, won't latch, and won't meet ADA or fire code. If that door is on a commercial building and someone gets hurt, the property owner is exposed.
Door closers aren't a handyman job. They're engineered hardware with spring sizes, mounting templates, and code requirements that depend on the door, the frame, and the use case. We install and service commercial door hardware across the Phoenix market. Our techs are trained commercial locksmith specialists, not guys watching a YouTube video on the way to your job.
170,000+ jobs done. BBB Ethics Award winner. Licensed, bonded, and insured.
If your closer looks like this, call us before someone else does with a lawyer.

Yes, we make keys for that too.
This is the ignition key for a mobility scooter.
It came in with no key, and we made one from scratch right at the shop.
People are surprised by how often we do this. Mobility scooters, eBike keys, golf carts, utility carts, even the tote box on the back of your truck. If there's a lock on it and no key to match, we can almost always make one.
It doesn't matter if the original key is long gone. We work off the lock itself.
Got something that needs a key? Bring it to our Gilbert shop.

The tools behind programming Chevy car keys.
This is what it actually takes to add a new fob to a 2023 Chevy Malibu. The laptop on the right is our programming tablet. The white module up top is the OBD interface that plugs into the car. We use them together to read the vehicle's computer, write the new remote into the system, and get it recognized by the car so it'll start and lock and unlock the doors.
It's not a "press a button and you're done" job. Every modern car key has to be matched to the immobilizer, and that takes the right equipment and the right software subscription.
We've been programming car keys across the Phoenix metro since 1997, with nearly 3,000 reviews to back it up.
