Coach Kay’s classes are really getting into the swing of things in P.E.! From learning warm-up routines and team assignments to tackling fitness challenges, our students are off to a running start this year.

They’ve been practicing fun tricks, building teamwork skills, and showing great sportsmanship along the way. One of their favorite activities? A hula hoop Rock, Paper, Scissors battle that had students moving, laughing, and talking about conflict resolution. It’s safe to say they’re hooping it up while learning valuable life skills!

P.E. is shaping up to be a wheel-y fun place to learn, grow, and play this year!

What an incredible week it has been at Rice Elementary! Our halls have been filled with smiling faces, new friendships, exciting learning, and so much Rice Pride. We are so proud of our students for working hard, showing kindness, and giving their best each day.

Rice Community Garden Club

The safety of our students is our highest priority. As we continue settling into the new school year, we ask all families to help us provide the safest arrival experience possible by using our front driveline for morning drop-off.

Dropping students off on 148th Street creates unnecessary safety concerns as students navigate traffic outside of our supervised arrival procedures. Our driveline is designed to provide a safe, efficient, and supervised way for students to enter campus.

Thank you for your partnership, patience, and kindness as we work together to ensure every Rice Rhino arrives at school safely each morning. We appreciate your support in making student safety our top priority! 💙💚🦏
