As we celebrate the men and women who make our work possible, Hunter President Dig Karki shared his appreciation for the crews who move the dirt, build the foundations, install the utilities, and take on the tough jobs—day after day.

But it takes more than what you see in the field. It takes the teams in our offices and yards supporting every project, the families who stand behind our people through the early mornings and long days, and the clients and partners who continue to place their trust in Hunter.

As Dig reminded us:

Twenty-five years later, we remember.

Today, we honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001, the families who continue to carry their memory, and the heroes who stepped forward in the moments and years that followed.

From first responders to the workers who helped rebuild, their courage showed us the strength found in service, unity, and community. At Hunter Contracting Co., we are reminded that what we build is more than infrastructure—it is a foundation for communities to heal, grow, and move forward together.

We will never forget.

Today, we brought our team together for Hunter Contracting’s Mid-Year Forum — a chance to celebrate where we’ve been, share what we’re working on and look ahead to what’s next.

We spend a lot of time talking about the great projects we manage and build, but today was also a reminder that our people are what make it all happen.

Across every project, department and role, there are talented people solving problems, supporting one another and doing incredible work every day. It was great hearing their stories, learning more about the projects happening across Hunter and celebrating everything our teams have accomplished so far this year.

We’re proud of the work we do, but even more proud of the people behind it.
