Butters, the inspiration for Whisker Outpost and our cat mascot is in need of specialty surgery.

We rushed him to the emergency vet Friday night for a life threatening blockage keeping him from using the litterbox.

He’s currently stable but stuck in the hospital until a specialty surgeon and get him on the schedule.

We understand times are tough all around but ask that you consider donating to his surgery fund if you have the means to do so. Even just sharing his story provides more help than you can imagine.

Sometimes our regular visitors will trap themselves again 😅 We try to prevent re-trapping so they don't get trap-savvy! If they learn to avoid them, then get hurt in the future, it's hard to catch them to help. Thankfully Miss March backed out of this trap that was set for Fresno. Meet our TNR baby, Fresno 🥹❤️

Fresno's first 24 hours at Casa de Cashi 🏩 He's now recovered from the surgery anesthesia so his real personality will start to peek out. It's only been a day and he's already crawling into laps, purring, and making biscuits. 🍞 Fresno will be getting more medical care to prepare him for adoption. What does that include? - SNAP test (FIV/FeLV/heartworm) - Vaccines - Deworming/antiparasitic meds For Fresno specifically, we also expect him to need dental surgery.
