Earlier this month, our friends at Developmental Enrichment Centers celebrated the Fourth of July with a special visit from their newest therapy dog friend, Owen! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸΆ

Throughout the session, members worked on visual processing and sensory processing through our goal-based activities while getting to know Owen. It was a fun way to celebrate the holiday and welcome a new four-legged friend. We can't wait to see Owen continue building connections with the members during future visits! β€οΈπŸ’™

We were excited to make our first visit to Assure Health Care Grp/All Abilities Prince location in Tucson! πŸŽ‰πŸΎ

Drax the Pit Bull, along with Thing 1 and Thing 2 the desert tortoises 🐢🐒, had a wonderful time meeting the members. During the session, members worked on fine motor skills and executive functioning through our goal-based activities. We can't wait for our next visit! πŸ’šβ˜€οΈ

There have been plenty of happy reunions and exciting firsts at Civitan Foundation, Inc. recently! 🐢🌞

Members spent time with Kenny, CJ, Archie, Rocky, Molly, Jax, Scout, Chase, Zane, and Dice throughout their visits. Everyone was especially excited to meet Rocky and Molly for the very first time, while also enjoying time with the therapy teams they've come to know over the years. πŸ’›πŸΎ

There have been lots of exciting moments at VALLEYLIFE! 🌟🐾

Members spent time with Rio, Eleanor, Dotty, Libby, and Hector. They welcomed Eleanor for their very first visit together and gave Hector a warm welcome during his Pawsitive Friendships debut! Along the way, members worked on visual processing, fine motor skills, and gross motor skills through hands-on activities, leash walking, and time with their animal friends.

It's been so much fun watching new friendships begin while familiar faces continue to make each visit special. πŸ’šβœ¨

Happy Birthday to our Central/West Valley Program Coordinator, Hailey! πŸŽ‰πŸ’œ

Hailey brings so much dedication, kindness, and enthusiasm to Pawsitive Friendships. Whether she's supporting our therapy teams, coordinating visits, or building relationships with our program partners, she always goes above and beyond for the individuals we serve.

We are so grateful to have her on our team and hope she has a wonderful birthday filled with all her favorite things! πŸŽ‚βœ¨

Help us wish Hailey a very happy birthday in the comments! πŸ₯³

Ever wonder what happens during a Pawsitive Friendships session? πŸ’™πŸΎ

While every visit looks a little different, our goal stays the same: using the bond of pets to help individuals build skills, confidence, and new opportunities for growth.

Here's a glimpse of some of the activities that make that happen.

There was a great mix of furry friends at The All Abilities Learning Center- Assure Health Care Group of AZ in North Tucson with Charlie, Worf, Remi, and Merida stopping by! πŸΎπŸ’™

Members spent time building communication, social participation, executive functioning, sensory processing, and motor skills through hands-on activities with each therapy team. Every visit offered something a little different, and this group was ready for it!

Employees at Peckham Inc. enjoyed visits from Ellie Mae, Oakley, Merritt, and Winnie! πŸΎπŸ’™

These sessions offer a chance to step away from the workday, connect with one another, and spend time with some friendly faces. Sometimes an hour with a therapy animal is exactly what's needed. πŸ₯°
